Project Descriptions: Salwa Beach Resort initiated a design competition covering full scale design services from masterplanning to detailed architecture. The resort includes a 5-star 350 Key hotel, leisure marina, beachfront villas and riads, waterpark, business and conference center, fitness center, and a Mosque. The program elements looked to historic Qatarian architectural influences as well as ancient fortifications for design inspiration.
Work Descriptions: Drawing Coordinator for MEP/ Infrastructure
1. Review IFC drawings to insure all the MEP shop drawings are in prepared accordingly.
2. Operates AutoCAD in preparing preliminary Infrastructure shop drawings for manholes and chambers going to design execution at site.
3. Prepare MEP site survey for building existing utilities.
4. Prepare MEP super imposed existing utility drawings with coordinates.
5. Prepare and double check the projects coordinate’s and points prior to execute at site.
6. Prepare as-built drawing for levels and points on building utilities.

Project Description: The project is 3 star business/ leisure hotel for Premier Inn Hotels. The project comprises 219 guestrooms with no suites. The project is G+4 floors height. Plot Area is 7, 318 sqm. The project is located at Education city near Exhibition center at Education City, Doha Qatar. The client is joint venture between Premier Inn Hotels Qatar LLC and Msheireb Properties.
Master developer for Education City Development is Qatar Foundation. Total built-up area for the project is around 10, 000sqm. The hotel includes amenities and Leisure and lifestyle utilities such as a modern gymnasium, a swimming pool in addition to the F&B outlets. Work Descriptions:
1. Technical Design Head, manager for shop drawings architectural and drawing coordinator
2. Handed entire design process from initial consultation and need assessment through plan development and execution.
3. Collaborated with other engineers and sub contractors during construction process, selecting finishes, architectural elements and accessories.
4. Shop drawing coordinator and follow up building materials to all suppliers and sub contractors.
5. Operates AutoCAD in preparing preliminary design going to Design execution.
6. Prepare Architectural shop drawings, spot details required on site.
7. Checking of all materials sample submittals from sub-contractors and suppliers prior to submit to consultant.
8. Coordinate all sub-contractors and suppliers for their shop drawing’s submittals & schedules.
9. Attend technical meeting and progress meeting with client and consultant.
