Responsible for the approval of all major procurement activities and the development and implementation
of strategic procurement plans.
• Create and implement procurement strategies that are innovative, cost-effective, and incorporate the growing complexities and challenges within industry.
• Analyse market and delivery trends to develop procurement technologies and processes that support those trends.
• Communicate with vendors to determine terms and availability & ensure that the product arrives in a timely fashion.
• Negotiate contracts with vendors to obtain best price and service.
• Build long-term relationships with vendors in the industry.
• Identify cost reduction opportunities to achieve financial goals by price review.
• Manage technological systems that track the shipment, inventory and supply of materials.
• Provide periodic reporting for management on purchasing, controls and processes.
• Evaluating the cost of the products to make sure they are competitive in the market & with profit margin.
• Identifying, reviewing, selecting and purchasing of products after reviewing the market survey and collaborating with executives, marketers and salespeople.
• Planning and identifying high inventory movement SKU, categories and locations to maintain proper inventory across GCC by setting ROP after yearly stocktake.
• Business plan phasing - Annual allocated sales target, to be planned and achieved across the region by increasing sales.
• Review and monitor range plans regularly to reflect changing sales/trends.
• Analysing sales figures, market trends and customer behaviour to determine product needs.
• Regular analysis of sales to assist in the range planning for each type of sales: retail and ecommerce.
•Stocking sales floor shelves and creating attractive product displays.
• Monitor and forecast sales trends to ensure maximum stock availability and the best possible rate of stockturn.
• Forecasting & budgeting of inbound and outbound, based on business plans and strategy.
• Calculate and report on levels of current and future sales and stock on weekly basis.
• Research competing brands and their marketing approach, customer base, and pricing strategy.
