Job Responsibilities: Working on 9 major projects
Plan & implement of seed varietal trials, Seed production and multiplication of cotton, wheat & barley crops.
Acid delinting project for cotton seed treatment & seed grading, treatment for wheat & barley crops.
Mass production of natural bio-agents like Trichogramma spp., Bracon and Lace wings in Bio-laboratory for own commercial use in our cotton planted region (Direct & Contract farming).
Composting, organic manure preparation for cotton / wheat crop.
Soil testing laboratory - Soil sampling, analysis and nutrient / fertilizers recommendation
Implementation of Better Cotton Initiatives (BCI) in full Indorama territory including contract farming.
Water management & stewardship.
Mulberry plantation & management as a CSR activity.
New pilot trials on Bio-pesticides, Botanical pesticides, Pheromone trap, Drip irrigation, Border area tree plantation, Nitric acid, Nano silicon, water soluble foliar fertilizers, etc.
Team management:- Coordinating the large diversified teams (Production, Operations, Agronomist, Ware house Manager, Commercial, Procurement, Civil & construction, Machine maintenance, Human Resource, Govt. Relation, Health, Safety & Environment, & local teams) with different skills for achievement of individual and group targets.
Active Co-ordination with Govt. Authorities for Seed certification, Bio-laboratory, IFC officers, BCI Head, Trial companies representatives, etc.

Working area: Navroz, Beruni, Hamza & Pakhtakor Sub districts of Kasbi district, Kashkadarya region, Uzbekistan

Job Responsibilities:
Handling of fully mechanized large scale (13, 000 ha) cotton, wheat, sunflower, soybean & mung bean crops corporate farming directly.
To develop methods of control weeds, pest & diseases.
Use of appropriate fertilizers, herbicides, fungicides, insecticides, etc.
Soil & nutrient management.
Irrigation schedules & water management.
Plan & implement of varietal trials, seed production and multiplication of cotton & wheat crop.
Agronomical trials on evaluating seeds, chemicals, fertilizers, etc.
New experimental trials on Biological control, drip irrigation, soil sampling, etc.
Mechanized farming and Modern ginning
Amelioration & Irrigation infrastructure management like Canal, ditch, collector, Latok’s, water pump, transformer, canal gate, metal pipe, under road concrete pipe, underground drainage, etc.

Compiling results and presenting reports to the management and client.

Team management- Coordinating and managing large diversified teams (Operations, Agronomist, Depot Manager, Commercial, Maintenance, Ginning, HR and local teams) with different skills for achievement of individual and group targets.

To execute and manage all aspects of cotton agronomy in a cotton out-growers program, around 50, 000 ha with 35, 000 farmers).

Specific Duties & Responsibilities:
 Increase cotton productivity for the average marginal farmer, under current conditions (No fertilizers & rain fed crop)
 To identify, source and implement cost effective insecticides for effective insect pests control and herbicides for weed control.
 To develop and adopt Good Agronomic Practices (GAPs) for higher seed cotton yields. Convert them into simple training aids and conduct the same.
 Conduct the R & D field trials with respect to various agronomic aspects and control of insect pests & weeds.
 Conduct and control large scale field demos and demo plots for crop varieties & pesticides.
 Efficient and effective supervision of farm agronomy staff in all aspects of cotton production.
 Effective interaction with the extension team and ensuring that the agronomy best practices are implemented at the hub level.
 Develop & adopt efficient management systems to control, monitor cotton and report contract farming operations (related to agronomy).
 Facilitate in sourcing of farm inputs and equipment for the out-growers project.
 Technical training to field staff and out-growers.
 Conduct crop and market surveys to estimate crop area and production.

(A) Technical Services (for entire State):
 Technical Agronomical services, Irrigation (Water Management), Fertigation (INM) Pest Management (IPM), Diseases Management (IDM), Weeds Management, Crop Management (ICM) to the farmers for increasing crop production.
 To conduct a Farmers meeting in different districts of Gujarat
 To deliver training to channel partners, company employees & customers.
 Promotion the products and services to channel partners.
 Collection of farmers data and prepare a success story.
 To arrange & organize Developmental activities / Sales promotional activities
 Sales staff co-ordination for new business opportunities in new area.
 Technical problem / queries solving of Micro Irrigation Systems
 Liaison with Govt., Universities and scientist.
 Preparation of Dossier / literature / sales support materials for State level.
 Project handling like RKVY, Tribal cluster, GWRDC, GEB, NGOs, Watershed Management, etc.

(B) Sales & Marketing (South Gujarat):
 Sales & Marketing activities of Micro Irrigation Systems in South Gujarat.
 To prepare & submit documentation for sales & collection as per GGRC guidelines.
 To achieve marketing goals & objectives in S. Gujarat by developing the dealer network, promoting products & services by the company.
 Monitor new developments concerning the market and competitors and translate this information into commercial opportunities.
 Reports technical & Market information to Sales & Development.
 Design the Market & Sales plans area wise. Analyse and monitor discrepancies in the realisation of these plans.

 Pest & diseases management in the existing field, vegetables, fruit crops, etc.
 Technical guideline to farmers and field staff for increasing crop production
 Giving specialist advice and information to clients and colleagues.
 Extension activities like meeting, training to field staff and farmers
 Applying chemicals to field trials; Designing and developing experiments
 Supervision of Spot & Result Demonstration conducted by field Staff
 Project managing research of Hitweed (Pyrithiobac Sodium), Tobacco Suckericide, etc.
 Marketing of Pesticides, Seeds, Fertilizers, WSF, Agricultural equipments, etc.
 Marketing & Product Development of Agri inputs.
