 Ensuring proper isolation and decontamination of equipment, applying Lock-Out and Tag-Out.
 Ensuring proper alignment and fixing soft foot of rotating equipment, using reverse dial indicator method.
 Worked in central maintenance workshop, duties include major overhauling of Cl2 compressors, turbines,
gearboxes, Salt slurry pumps, Cl2 pumps, blowers, centrifuges, fluid couplings and hydraulic motors etc.
 Liaise with rotating equipment inspectors and engineers for repair recommendations.
 Scheduling technicians, and placing orders for spare parts, using CMMS (Mainframe) and SABIC supply

bearings, mechanical seals, etc. checking run-outs & meets clearances as per OEM requirements, checking pipe
stress, soft foot and alignment using Optalign Plus.
