• Screening and optimizing algal strains using the Fluorescence-Activated Cell Sorting (FACS)
instrument to increase lipid content for biofuel production.
• Studying the effect of UV mutagenesis on algae lipid content cells.
• Generation of an algal ORFeome (i.e., a comprehensive collection of cDNA clones encoding protein
coding genes) and cloning of transcription factor from Chlamydomonas.
• Improving algal metabolic potentials using the generated clones, and analyzing algal lipid contents
using NMR spectroscopy and GC/MS.
• Establishing a new project to design, induction, expression and experimental testing of the RNA
scaffold.
• Ordering, tracking, receiving chemicals, consumables and lab’s equipment.
• Managing and monitoring operation of major instruments in the lab.
• Organizing laboratory meetings and overseeing lab members’ productivity.
• Arranging and/or carrying out lab safety training of new lab personnel.
• Processing travel requests for lab personnel for work-related conferences or workshops.
• Supervised the design, manufacture, installation, commissioning and fault analysis of insulation
process for Low voltage cable manufacturing.
• Reduced XLPE head waste and insulation faults on the LV cables projects.
• Work with external parties, eg. Equipment suppliers to provide new system or update the current
system for insulation material.
• Tested the insulation material properties like tensile stress and elongation at break.
• SAP champion and main support engineer on all the insulation lines and curing tanks and run
analysis reports and fix the operators errors accordingly.
the Waste to Energy Lab
- Established an active Waste2Energy laboratory equipped with analytical tools to breakdown the
composition of a given feedstock and derives their molecular formula.
- Studied and analyzed waste resources and their disposal process.
- Studied biofuel sources 1st
&2nd
generation, edible and non-edible like algae, rapeseed, sunflower, etc.
- Sat-up fuel properties lab tests i.e open and closed cup flash point, Distillation, viscosity, Reid Vapor
Pressure, API Gravity, Pour & Cloud Point, Water Content and Smoke opacity.
- Ran different biodiesel petro diesel engine performance test and recorded the engine emission and
power.
- Child Labor and Education in Varanasi/Saranath, India (Field trip to India 2012), Poverty and solution
project. Evaluate different NGOS models and approaches through Strengths, Weaknesses,
Opportunities, and Threats (SWOT) analysis. Propose new organizational structure model with
financial model while considering the risks and mitigation.
- The Young Future Energy Leaders program graduate: renewable energy, environment and sustainability
(Wind, solar and energy Course, Waste Management Course and Policy Course).
within the Wireline, Well Services, Well Testing, and Drilling and Measurement
Sections.
