Joined the organization at inception and have had overall strategic, operational and financial responsibility, creating a regional benchmark in developing a non-profit model that incorporates best practices from the business sector into the non-profit environment by catalysing the eforts of 500 CEO level members from 15 diferent countries.
• Identifying, engaging and managing membership: 500 regional business, government and civil society leaders
• Planning and overseeing implementation of initiatives in education, entrepreneurship, leadership development and dialogue exchange (between Arab countries and Asia, North America, Europe and Latin America)
• Setting up operations of regional branches in 10 Arab countries
• Sourcing funds: set up a revenue-generating model and finalized corporate and project sponsorship worth US$ 15m
• Brand creation: Built regional and global brand recognition within less than 2 years of operations
• Conference management: Started the YAL annual forum which attracted in its inaugural year over 500 regional and global leaders. Keynote speakers included Bill Clinton, Lee Kwan Yew, King Abdullah II of Jordan and many others.
