Acting Editorial Manager
1.Supervises a team of 21 online editors based in MBC Cairo Office.
2.Develops, manages and executes overall editorial strategy/plans within all editorial and marketing-related content to increase reach, and readership
3.Establishes, manages and optimizes internal editorial production schedule
4.Establishes, manages and executes all editorial processes, standards, guidelines and style guides between the websites and sister channels to ensure brand consistency.
5.Assists the Marketing Department, sales and Executive Management in planning, aligning and promoting existing and new products/services via editorial avenues
6.Actively researches viable editorial stories through internal and external resources
7.Actively researches, analyzes and implements new editorial/content methodologies
8.Manages and oversees all editorial department budget
9.Audits editorial quality, effectiveness and results applying qualitative and quantitative techniques
1. RESPONSIBLE FOR THE OVERALL PROCESS OF PRODUCING ONLINE NEWS STORIES.
2. RESPONSIBLE FOR AMENDING AND UPDATINE THE MOVING STORIES.
3. WRITIND, TRANSLATINGE AND EDITING REPORTS.
4. CONDUCTING ON-PHONE INTERVIEWS.
5. OFFERING IDEAS, NEW ANGLES FOR THE REPORTERS TO FOLLOW UP.
6. RESPONSIBLE FOR PRODUCING THE ONLINE INTERACTIVE CONTENTS IN COLLABORATION WITH GRAPHIC DESIGNERS.
7. INSURING THAT THE PUBLISHED STORIES ARE ADHERED TO THE ALARABIYA.NET STYLE BOOK.
