In charge of supervising, with a team of professional analysts, the strategic affairs of the company with external entities such as the General Secretary of the Executive Council, ADWEA, RSB etc..
Reasonable of cascading the strategic goals of the government to the level of the sector, the cooperation and the business units.
Following up with the senior management of the organization to collect the input and directions required to proceed with consolidating the strategic plan of the organization.
Ensure the awareness of the business units and the employees of the strategic direction of the government, the sector and the company by performing workshops and meeting related to the strategic plan and the company’s cooperate level scorecard.
Coordinate with the business units to set up their scorecards with Key Performance Indicators related to their field of work in order to help achieve the strategic goals of the company.
Set, along with the business units, appropriate and realistic targets for the KPI(s) for the next 5 years of the strategy, identify the gaps from achieving those targets and determine initiatives, programs and projects to improve the performance.
Measure the progress of the business units in terms of KPI(s), initiative, programs and projects and prepare Quarterly Performance Review Reports for the Senior Management as well as Annual Reports and presentations for the Board of Directors of the Company.
Coordinate with the Business Strategy Planning and Performance Department Manager the departmental affairs and fulfil all instructions and
hand over duties from him.
Organize and directly supervises all project activities from conception to commissioning and hand over of projects.
Supervise the preparation of all project specifications/documents and ensure their compliance with international standards and codes.
Review contract documents to ensure compliance with approved specifications.
Supervise a team of professional engineers from consultants and contractors to ensure that the work is being carried out in a professional way to meet the project objectives.
Hold site meetings/inspections, monitor the work progress and ensure compliance with contract specifications. If required, initiates corrective
action.
Ensure that the work at site is carried out in a safe manner in accordance with safety rules and regulations.
Responsible for initiating and executing water related work orders, such as: bulk and house connections, relocations of utilities, maintenance and modifications on water networks.
In charge of estimating the cost and duration of water works plus the supervision fees.
Carry out primarily designs of the water network modifications and relocations and submitting them for approval.
