Product and packing development, quality improvement, regulatory compliance and ISO 9001:2015 are the key areas. Notable contributions are transition of ISO 9001:2015, cost optimisation projects, launch of new project for specialty chemicals, product registration as per UAE and KSA standards.
- Heading QA Management of edible oil manufacturing facility comprising of company owned plant and subcontract packaging operations. The packaging operations consist of plastic bottle molding. Factory is ISO 22000 and ISO 17025 certified. Member of corporate auditing panel and audited national and international facilities. Received CEO award for innovation for various quality improvement projects. Notable assignments are; development of cost effective solutions for defect detection, quality inspection software and a pilot of SPC based quality model in association with Indian statistical institute.
Multiple responsibilities and positions handled in this corporate role includes production capacity availability for food products at pan India level. Customer care management for all product categories and businesses, corporate QA for personal wash category. Contributions to state are commissioning of third party facility for wheat floor manufacturing, process improvement to reduce cost, implementation of unilevers new consumer relevant quality model, management of various outsourced services.
QA Assurance of own and third party manufacturing sites including production of personal care product range, production of plastic bottles. Has been part of number of new product launches.
Technical reporting to factory manager for a manufacturing facility consist of two personal care factories. Have handled production and QA assignments. Production plan compliance, quality improvement, vendor development and assurance, new product execution are the key deliverable's. The site was a TPM certified factory.
