-Was responsible for the design management of a large scale royal residential complex, a project that consists of 10 villas to be designed and supervised by our office.
-Managed and supervised a design team of 6 architects for the development of this project, my duties included design management, conducting meetings with clients and preparing reports, timelines and design progress schedules.
-Worked on a multitude of projects that ranged from commercial to governmental to residential projects.
-My duties included conceptual design work, design development work, detailed design work and working drawings supervision.
-I helped introducing the Revit BIM environment to our office after we mainly used Autocad as our design and development software.
-I helped introducing Virtual Reality Technologies to our office using the Samsung Gear VR that we used to provide conceptual design presentations to our clients, proving to be a very valuable technique for our clients to understand and visualize the design and the scale of the project, this technique is now the most preferred method of presentation by most of our clients.
-My study in the most prestigious Architecture school in Sudan has taught me a lot of things when it comes to architectural design, it has greatly influenced my design sense, and improved my artistic skills. -During my studies i have garnered an extensive set of design skills, ranging from hand sketching to model making to software architectural design, either with CAD (Autocad, Archicad and Revit), or with various visualization software such as 3dsmax/vray, Lumion, Artlantis and Sketchup to name a few. -I have worked on a multitude of design projects during these 5 years, that span a wide variety of functions, from educational projects, to governmental, service, health, office and entertainment projects.
-For a period of three days, I have participated in an extensive Interior Design course in the Isalmic University of Kuala Lumpur's research and training centre in Malaysia, as part of our scientific architecture school trip through Asia. -Mentored by some of the brightest minds in interior design in Malaysia, and through extensive educational techniques and methods, i have learned a lot and improved my design sense when it comes to interior spaces. and grasped critical skills in furniture, color, fabric, materials design and coordination.
