JOB SUMMARY
• Working as a Design Engineer in KOC Core Group, Project Management -II (WK), West Kuwait.
• Reporting to Senior Engineer/Team Leader of the department.
• Assisting KOC Lead engineers and guiding surveyors/designers in carrying out the survey and detailed engineering work.
• Familiar with the working knowledge of Marrat wells, ESP wells, Tayarat wells, Disposal water wells, Source water wells & Injection water wells.
• Familiar with the working knowledge of Effluent water disposal system (EWDS) works of GC’s which includes tie in of Wet / Dry tanks, Booster and HPS pump piping with all associated works.
• Carry out Feasibility study, preliminary Site survey, Prepare tentative Pipeline route, piping layout showing tie-in points, along with associated facilities and establish drawings, specifications for execution.
• Develop Plot plans as per guidelines and obtain necessary approvals for Addition, Modifications, Revamps and De-bottlenecking projects.
• Review, Comment and Approve Vendor Equipment's specification, Piping/Pipeline specifications, Piping Design basis, Process requirement, Access requirements, Line list, Specialty item list and other relevant documents.
• Review, Comment and Approve P&ID's, Layouts, GADs, Isometrics & various piping related drawings and documents.
• Develop Preliminary Bill of Material, Material Take off (MTO) from P&ID and Layout for both Equipment's and Piping Commodities and Piping support drawings.
• Develop P&I drawings, Piping Layout, Pipeline route drawings, detailed engineering drawings and Isometrics with Bill of Material.
• Guiding Designers for developing Piping Layouts, Equipment Layouts and General Arrangement drawings. Checking of Piping & Instrumentation drawings, Piping Plan, piping Isometrics and checking BOM with respect to corresponding Piping material class.
• Participation in HAZID, HAZOP discussions as a member and implement Final Recommendations.
• Preparation of Technical Specifications for different Contracts namely Construction of Flowlines and associated works, Construction of Remote Header Manifolds and associated Works.
• Review and approval of Technical documents related to materials submitted by Contractor.
• Coordinating with various teams of KOC for the approval of materials and other work order related activities.
• Provide clarification, guidance and technical supports to construction, commissioning and QC Personnel.
• Technical queries and technical meeting with domestic and international vendors for optimizing of purchase and improving equipment and plant performance.
• Taking part in the determination of corrective actions and then ensuring the correct implementation of the activities for resolving cases of nonconformity.

JOB SUMMARY
• Worked as a Design Engineer in KOC Core Group, Jurassic Project Management (JPM), North Kuwait.
• Developing design scope and ensuring that deliverables are in compliance with the applicable Codes, Standards, Project/Corporate requirements and procedures.
