Currently I am working with the Saudi’s Leading Operation and Maintenance Company (Power & Desalination Business), in Technical Support services to provide techno-commercial consultancy for the world’s largest IPP of 4000MW CCPP.

The power station consists of:

Six (06) identical groups with 2+2+1(02, SGT6-5000F +HRSG+1, SST6-4000) configuration, each with a net output of 654.5 MW. At 52%, it is the most efficient power station of its kind in the country, and one of the largest in the world, with 3, 927 MW Net output.

Assignments:
• Developing the framework for the Condition Based Management from Procedure to Execution for complete plant.
• Conducting TDD (Technical Due-Diligence) for the Project Post-Commissioning.
• Team-member for the Power plants O&M Quality & Planning improvement.
• Supporting TSM in vendor sourcing for the strategic partnership with Asset Reliability services.
• Streamlined the Work-permit mechanism on SAP End-user from Notification to Technical Closure.
• Responsible to raise Warranty Claims to EPC (SAMSUNG C& T).
• Monitoring and controlling plant performance in accordance with Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with Saudi electric company (SEC).
• Preparing monthly invoice for the energy sent-out IPAS software and record Incentives & LD’s as per O&M contract with Hajr Electricity Company.
• Preparing Monthly, Quarterly and Annual reports for entire operation maintenance cost and plant performance.
• Representing Plant performance to Board members, Executive committee, Owner, Insurer and Stakeholders.
• Provide cost effective engineering technical support to the operation and maintenance (O&M).
• Coordinate with the EPC contractor for ongoing works on under construction units as per agreement.
• Ensure Effective Implementation of long term service agreement (LTSA) with Siemens and ISCOSA.

• Developed, maintained and effectively executed project plans throughout project life-cycle in accordance with project management methodologies(MS Project etc)
• Managed day to day commercial and contractual issues
• Ownership of project estimates; responsible for working with project team to develop initial estimates and to manage time/cost against those estimates
• Forecasted, tracked and managed project budgets, POs and invoices by using SAP.
• Responsible for revenue recognition management and documentation on assigned projects.
• Supported technically by reviewing, supervising & monitoring all design, value Engineering & construction activities to major projects.
• Handled overall execution and management responsibilities related to the engineering, design, construction, commissioning, procurement & turnarounds.
• Reviewed/developed technical standards, specifications, drawings and documents.

 Provided budget inputs and control cost to maintain yearly budgets.
 Fostered continuous improvement in Rotating/Reciprocating Equipment’s’ performance& creating conducive
atmosphere & best maintenance practices.
 Improved performance through training, coaching& mentoring of all peers& colleagues.
 As a member of Internal Audit Committee, performed Bi-annual intra-departmental audits.
 Incorporated QHSE during their regular team briefings and meetings, and incorporate QHSE performance
objectives in the staff performance review system.
 Implemented and enforced Risk Assessment Process with all staff and ensure correctional requirements identified
are executed.
 Coordinated Emergency Preparedness and Response within the company.
 In-corporate standards of OHSAS 18001-2007 & ISO 14001-2004.

After completion of Trainee Period, I reported at Bin Qasim Thermal Power Station as an Assistant Manager (Mechanical Maintenance) to perform the following tasks.

 Planning, scheduling, supervising and execution of routine maintenance, preventive maintenance and overhauls rotary equipments of power plant, Such as Centrifugal & Centripetal Pumps, Drain Condensate Pumps, Drain Pumps, Sump Pumps, Screw Pumps, HFO Supply Pumps, Fire Fighting Pumps.

 Servicing & inspection of Heavy Fuel Oil Storage Tanks (capacity 10000 m3 and 25000m3) Babcock Hitachi K-K, Diesel Oil Storage Tanks (500m3) Babcock Hitachi K-K, Water Pressurized Tanks for Fire Fighting Protection System, Service & Instrument Air Receiver Tanks.


 Air Dryers, Strainers, Different Oil Purifier, Coolers, Heavy Fuel Suction Heaters, Different types of Valves (gate valve, below off valve, globe valve, butterfly valve, and check valve and spring type safety valve. Heat Exchangers, Heavy Fuel Suction Heaters.

 Metal Diaphragm Compressor (HYDROGEN GAS PLANT).

• Planning of shutdown of major auxiliaries with respect to load condition, availability of spares, tools and manpower.

• Planning and hiring of contract skilled/unskilled manpower for shutdown activities through procurement department.

• Assist the maintenance personnel in repetitive failure analysis and suggest suitable recommendations.

• Planning of spares, tools/tackles, specific consumables and other necessary materials.
• Involved in Project development teams and plant maintenance projects from conceptual design, permitting, site construction, start-up and acceptance testing.

Preparing the Pre-feasibility of the various renewable energy projects.
Develop thorough knowledge of renewable to energy industry, projects, and opportunities
Review and evaluate Wind Potential of Pakistan to energy project documents: track, verify, analyze data and
monitor trends for Power Generation.
Review project specifications to identify and utilize data required.
