Roles:
To perform deployment, implementation and support of ERP systems in accordance with Company’s requirements and comply with Information, Communication & Technology (ICT) policies and procedures to ensure maximum availability of critical IT applications resulting in improved productivity.
System Administrator SAP is primarily responsible to design & implement IT infrastructure, new systems and / or upgrade existing one and to manage, administer and support all back end SAP Servers, perform UNIX/LINUX, Oracle & SAP System Administration and managing transport management Systems.
Keeping liaison with SAP Malaysia and performing all communications with them including sending OSS requests, licensing issues, providing access of SAP Servers to SAP Malaysia and other related matters.
Performing successful project execution through professional communications to end users, team members and to the top management.
Continual coordination with Vendors to support our Systems regarding Service Level Agreements and new projects feasibilities.
Budget Planning and Procurement of IT equipment for IT Infrastructure.
Responsibilities:
Perform installation, patching and upgrade of existing SAP/Oracle ERP Systems.
Administer SAP/Oracle systems landscape, change and transport management systems and SAP Systems profile parameters.
Perform SAP/Oracle Systems maintenance tasks, startup, shutdown backup & recovery.
Ensure SAP/Oracle systems backups are taken smoothly and moved to off-site DR site for testing restoration.
Carrying out following tasks in addition to other regular system administration responsibilities:
Patch management on UNIX/Linux/Windows, DB, and SAP Application.
Maintaining High Availability & Disaster Recovery environment for UNIX/Linux/Windows, Oracle & SAP Systems.
Managing Servers, Storage and SAN Environment.
Implementing online and offline data backup policies & procedures.
Developing and maintaining disaster recovery mechanism of Production data and managing all DR site operations including assignment and supervision of DR operators.
Performing Systems installations for new projects or upgrading existing ones related to SAP, Oracle Financials and PHP Online Web Portal and Mobile Application.
Liaison with hardware maintenance contractor in connection with implementation, Upgrade and Maintenance of hardware solutions.
Troubleshoot existing user roles, objects, and authorization definitions to resolve segregation of duty conflicts and other security issues and violations upon the recommendation of internal audit or relevant departmental heads.
Keep all the relevant ISMS documentation and records safely and maintain their integrity and availability.
Implementation and documentation of various standardization procedures (particularly in the areas of SAP System Administration, SAP Security, SAP System Support and other Application Development).
Maintaining and reviewing the asset register of all sites.
Plan yearly budgeting for upgrade & enhancement of IT infrastructure and other new & upgrade Projects.
Performed complete procurement cycle to acquire plan IT Equipment’s.
Performed Project management of SAP Basis related project like new SAP Systems Installation, Deployment & Implementation, and Web Portal & Mobile application projects.
Operating System of more than 20 servers was upgraded to latest SuSe Linux SP4 which opens road map to use new features of OS and features of SAP & Database certified on SuSe 11 SP4.
Installation, Deployment, Implementation/Configuration of QlikView Dashboard & Integration with SAP to present raw data from SAP into Business Intelligence form for rapid decision making & analytics purpose.
Virtualization of SAP Development, Quality Assurance, SAP Enterprise Portal and SAP Process Integration Servers using Windows 2012 Hyper-V Technology.
1. Operation and Maintenance of different Microwave links (CTR 210/190, Sral old/xd, NEC Pasolinks V4, NEC Neo, NEC Neo HP, Nera STM-1/FE, Siae STM-1, Harris Stratex, NEC DMR 5000S, ZTE S400, ZTE S500 and ZTE NR8120).
2. Installing & configuring of new Microwave links.
3. Operation and Maintenance of WLL BTS (ZTE AE BTS, SDR).
4. Installing, Configuring and testing of new WLL BTS sites.
5. Maintenance and installation of battery power plants and power cubes(FCB).
6. Maintenance and installation of Solar power plants.

9. PAT of new BTS sites and microwave links with ZTE Staff and Huawei.
10. Carrying different types of test from BTS with BSC.
11. Maintenance of different types of DG Set up to 30 KVA.
12. Patching of E1/FE for telecom companies like ( Telenor, Ufone, Telecard etc).
