1) Project Manager for brown field LPG plant expansion at Tuticorin, from 2, 00, 000 MTPA to 3, 50, 000 MTPA - Performed detailed engineering and commissioning in operating plant.

2) Deputy Project Manager for Cryogenic Ethylene storage tank - Performed detailed engineering for storage tank & balance of plant, for Reliance Industries Limited, Jamnagar Refinery Complex.

3) Interface Manager for Sulfur Recovery Unit at Jazan IGCC power plant and refinery complex - EPCIC Contract awarded to Snamprogetti, Milan by M/s. Saudi Aramco, KSA, until recently.

FUNCTIONAL ACTIVITIES - In Green & Brown Field Projects :
 Hands on experience in all areas from Initiation, Planning, Execution, Communication, Stake Holder Management, Interface Management, Monitoring, Control till Closure including all engineering activities - process, equipment design, manufacturing, civil, structural, piping, electrical, instrumentation, telecom, LOSPE, HSE, procurement, expediting, logistics (break bulk, cross country, route survey), site fabrication, construction, erection, pre-commissioning, commissioning, mechanical completion, till closure.
 Responsible for day to day interaction and communication with client.
 Prepare project schedule, issue master documents list, plan, monitor, control, ensure adherence to schedule and achieve invoicing & profitability as budgeted.
 Risk and Opportunity -- identification/plan responses/monitor/control risk.
 Raising change orders and ensuring acceptance of the same by client.
 Various reports to management to clients.
 ERP system monitoring and management.
 Monitoring and ensuring profitability as budgeted and enhance it as much as possible.
 Visited overseas/local vendors/sub vendors/contractors /forge shops for evaluation and expediting.
 Based on project requirement/lead time, prioratise delivery.
 Getting fortnightly progress reports from all vendors in specified format, scrutinize and identify area of concern, take corrective action, if required, by visiting sub vendors - for progress monitoring.
 Hold weekly/fortnightly/monthly update meetings with client, contractors, at vendors/sub-vendors works to monitor progress/ensure required resources are allotted to meet schedule.
 Monitor all logistics activities up to on-time receipt & acceptance at project site.
 Risk management - Identify, plan risk responses, closely monitor & control risk.
 Co-ordinate with all stake holders - client, various engineering disciplines, procurement, manufacturing, sub vendors, QC, TPI agency, logistics service providers, shipping companies, statutory authorities etc.
 Receipt and approval of post order documentations - TC/MTC, traceability reports, other report’s.
 Coordinate all logistics/customs issues (Sea, Air, Road shipments, including cross country) - despatch clearance, route survey for ODC’s, arranging shipments through break bulk vessel, shipment consolidations, insurance claims if any etc.
 Settling commercial/LC/BG related issues, insurance claims, if any.
 Project final documentations preparation and submission, including translation into Spanish.
 Ensure regular updating of ERP system.
 Various reports to management and clients.
 Monitor, analyze & maintain supplier, contractor, vendor performance data base.
 Ensuring receipt of Project Completion Certificate.

Interface Management & Expediting activities - Hands on experience :
 For Jazan IGCC - SRU package - EPCIC Contract - Responsible for all Interface Management activities, involving nine major EPC contractors, located in different continents.

As Project Manager - Full responsibility for projects from initiation to closure and day to day interaction/correspondence with client.

Projects -
1) PM for Green field plant EPCIC contract for a 4, 80, 000 liters per day, Bioethanol Plant in Colombia, South America.
Scope comprised, detailed engineering, equipment manufacturing, site fabrication, erection of equipments, structures and piping, mechanical completion, per-commissioning, commissioning, project closure

2) PM for Brown Field Bioethanol plant in Argentina, (except civil construction but to interface with Civil contractor). Project team comprised all engineering disciplines (process, equipment design and manufacture, piping, structural, electrical and instrumentation, telecom), procurement, quality, all co-ordinations with TPI agency/client/shipping/logistics (including break bulk, route survey and ODC road shipments) and accounts/finance department’s, LC/BG issues.

ACHIEVEMENT :
• Handled the single largest EPCIC contract for the company - ensured that all the equipments and materials, from two manufacturing locations were shipped out on schedule after client appointed TPI inspection (using break bulk vessel) and from all vendors located world wide as per schedule.
• Visited project site, organised and initiated on-site fabrication activities for 14 very large size vessels.
• Initiated civil works including UG pipe line works at site.
• All manufactured vessels and equipments were received at project site and accepted and safe storage ensured.

Project - Addax Bi-ethanol plant at Siero Leone - Performed cost estimation for site camp - setting up & two years running cost - with peak man power of 140 people. All manpower mobilized from India.
