Manage and execute all channel communication for Business and Fixed products, including network and new product launches, marketing propositions, direct communication and handset bundles across the Direct and Indirect Sales Channels.
Support the Business & Fixed marketing team, sales channels and the broader business to drive sales through using the full mix of BTL communication elements.
• FRiENDi mobile is part of FRiENDi Group which owned by
Virgin Mobile Middle East & Africa, an innovative and dynamic
telecommunications company operating as a Mobile Virtual Network
Operator/Enabler.
• Managing FRiENDi mobile brand, developing branding guidelines,
website, profile, newsletters, press releases, promotion material,
advertising, promotions, events and sponsorship. Ensuring that all
communications reflect and develop the desired positioning on the market.
• Conducting several marketing researches, such as market assessments,
customer satisfaction and brand awareness.
• Developing a full brand introduction plan, including pre and post launch
activities.
• Building relations with external bodies (e.g. Associations, Banks, etc.) to facilitate cooperation in future promotions.
• Developed and launched soft BTL Marketing campaign, which resulted in acquiring 70K subscribers in less than two weeks.
• Launched a fundraising campaign to enable Zain's 3 million customers to support the programs of UNRWA in Jordan through SMS.
• Developed and launched Zain Chevening scholarships to support
education in Jordan, through giving Jordanian students the opportunity to study in world's top educational institutions in the UK.
• Project Member of the "ibda3 and beyond" program, an incubator
program to develop application and content for mobiles in Jordan.
• Follow-up on several CSR initiatives such as mobile clinic, SOS, People with special needs etc.
• Handling all marketing communication activities for Zain "ISP" (ATL & BTL), sponsorships and events.
o Zain Ego Campaign with 300K JD budget; launching Wi-Max service,
which resulted in a market share of 30% in the Wi-Max market.
• Monitoring market competition, summarizing competitors' offerings & promotions, and issuing periodic reports for top management.
• Plan and prepare advertising and promotional material to increase sales of products or services, working with sales departments, channels and advertising agencies.
• Prepare budgets and submit estimates for launches, promotions and sponsorship costs as part of campaign plan development.
• Track program budgets and expenses and campaign response rates to evaluate each campaign based on program objectives and industry
norms.
• Negotiating free promotions/sponsorships with major restaurants, coffee
shops, universities and many major national, regional and multinational
events.
• Media planning for both ATL & BTL promotional activities, including
coordination with all relevant parties, departments, upper management and advertising agencies during project development.
• Developed and launched new products & promotional campaigns.
o "Khaliha Aleina", which resulted in increasing sales to 1, 500 accounts per
month compared to 200 accounts per month. This had a positive impact on Zain "ISP" market-share, which reached 8% of the total Internet
market.
• Conducted several post and pre-campaign studies and researches,
including data collection, analysis and setting and measuring KPIs.
• Researched and analyzed market potential and new trends.
• Handled pre and post analysis of any service launch.
• Supported sales employees on data products.
• Worked with technical team to prepare new products and services.
• Trained Call Center staff on up-selling and cross-selling skills and managed to develop them from problem solvers and complain handlers to sales people.
The highest mark (92%) in the department was given to my graduation research titled "Celebrity Endorsement in TV Advertising: A BehavioralPoint of View". Completed many projects and cases during the BA degree such as marketing plans, feasibility studies, business plans and many presentations. Almost all courses in Yarmouk University were taught in English.
