Responsible for the financial and contractual procedures of EU funded grantees.

•Managed procurement requirements to ensure compliance, cost reasonableness, allowability and allocability, accurate financial accounting and proper internal controls, and timely reporting.
•Certified potential vendors and ensured compliance with source and nationality requirements.
•Successfully negotiated favorable contract terms that led to effective cost-cuttings.
•Point of contact for day-to-day operational support of all project offices
•Executed the opening of project field offices in Amman, Irbid, Tafileh, and Aqaba governorates including conducting property evaluations and negotiating lease terms.

Responsible for the financial and the contractual management of EU projects in Jordan and Yemen. Support the project operational units throughout planning, and implementation of projects, including preparation of financing agreements, tender dossiers, offers evaluation, and contracts negotiation. Perform control and verification missions, in addition to financial analysis in the preparation of payments.
•Supervised the financial and the contractual management of 300 contracts including grants agreements, goods, service and works contracts totaling 73 million Euros in Jordan and Yemen.
•Initiated tendering, evaluation and successful implementation of projects in Jordan and Yemen totaling 40 million Euros.
•Trained Consultants, Ministries, NGO and SME staff on the procurement procedures and Implementation rules.
Supported establishing the rules and structure for the PMU, as well as the contractual procedures to ensure project activities are in line with EU rules and regulations.
•Successfully developed and managed staff training plans.
•Developed process flows and completed knowledge transfer of procurement procedures
