-Cooperating with U.S. Army safety officials on the maintenance, rebuild, and armoring of tactical military vehicles; accountable for all health and safety programs for over 650 employees
-Supervise a staff of 44 Combat Vehicle Maintenance workers, ensuring proper remanufacture and maintenance of heavy tactical vehicles, including mobile missile launching and troop transport systems

-Leading HSE personnel across multiple U.S. States, as well as working with HSE professionals in Australia and Canada, directed multiple enterprises aimed at increasing worker engagement and ownership of the safety management system, and overall safety culture
-Developed, reviewed, and implemented policies/procedures relating to topics including training, Job Hazard Analysis, Standard Work Instructions, and COVID-19 response protocols
-Utilizing design for safety principles, reviewed documentation and manufacture of portable, skid-mounted workforce living quarters, potable water storage, and wastewater holding tanks

-Supporting the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, identified, organized, treated, and disposed of hazardous materials and wastes at various U.S. Military installations, significantly reducing environmental impact due to past and ongoing activities
-Conducted site environmental assessments, analyzing collected data to develop corrective action plans, and completed remediation activities to include waste treatment, transportation, and off-site disposal
-Supported Incident Command in identifying and mitigating known or suspected safety, health, and environmental hazards, as well as site security, access control, and emergency response planning

-Designed and directed in-depth training at the Tooele Chemical Agent Disposal Facility on a wide range of subjects, including U.S. Army safety regulations, OSHA, EPA and DOT regulations, operator training for heavy equipment, rigging practices and hazmat/emergency medical response
-Managed, developed and presented instructor-led and computer based courses, with emphasis on increasing transfer of knowledge while reducing overall cost
-Collaborated with the Emergency Preparedness Department to develop and conduct routine exercises, as well as training and evaluations specifically designed to safeguard employees and site first responders
