Designs a structure in accordance to local and international codes and standards. Prepares project specifications and EDDR (Eng’g Design & Deliverables Review) Prepare engineering design by collecting and studying reports, FEED drawings and documents, and related topographical and geologic data. Liaising with design manager as well as the clients and a variety of professionals including architects and subcontractors. Review and approval of MAR’s (Material Approval Request) as required by the clients. Ability to develop and maintain detailed schedules, ensure adherence to quality standards and maintain policies and procedures. Ensuring project run smoothly by developing construction specification and structures are completed as per the design requirements. Submit monthly reports to Project Manager and support internal reports preparation. Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. Project control documentation. Site support/supervision
Coordinating with the local authority (Department of Public Works and Highways) prior to inspection tests. Prepares the quantity of material in accordance with the project specification prior to starting the project. Ensures all drawing plan is municipality approved and all details is provided to start setting the layout on site. Setting out the works as per drawing plan and specification. Work closely with Project Engineer regarding construction schedules. Dealing with municipality engineer in checking site progress regarding compliance of municipality requirement. Resolving technical issues with subcontractor’s representative, suppliers and consultant engineers.
