• Timely and accurate preparation and submission of invoices to clients.
• To deal with high profile clients and projects based in hostile countries like Afghanistan and Iraq; Successfully coordinated billing and collections for clienteles including the U.S Government, Shell, Petrofac, Petrochina, ExxonMobil, Fluor, Afghanistan Airport, Japanese Embassy, USAID etc.
• Liaison with project managers to ensure Manning and Vehicle sheet (back-up sheet for invoicing) are completed correctly and signed and submitted on time.
• Preparation of weekly aged debtors report and Cash flow forecast report.
• Liaison with clients to ensure withholding tax documentation is requested and supplied in line with corporate requirements.
• To work with the financial controller to develop and implement a controls framework, and to meet the required timelines for posting and reconciliations.
• To work with the commercial team, contracts and the project managers to ensure that Manning and Vehicle sheets are fit for purpose and lined up with the contracts.
• Posting of all journals and reconciliation of all GL accounts related to Accounts Receivable (like Trade Debtors, Unbilled Revenue, Deferred Revenue, and Provision for Bad Debts etc.).
• Setting up of individual project codes for customers in Microsoft AX.
• Working on Microsoft AX Dynamics 2012.
Primary responsibilities:
Accounts Officer:
o Preparation and submission of various reports (including Branch’s budget) as per State Bank of Pakistan Regulations and Bank’s policy and Procedures.
o Responsible for making Daily Branch Position (inclusive deposits, advances, expenses and income summary).
o Responsible for record keeping (including Fixed assets capitalization, depreciation and monitoring of expenses as per budget).
o Responsible for Profit calculation of various products.
o Activity checking of Branch Statement of Affairs on daily basis.
o Preparation of expenditure vouchers.
o Responsible for Withholding Tax deduction from vendors for their services and supplies and submission to State Bank of Pakistan.
o Custodian of Branch vouchers and Security Stationery.
o Responsible for all administrative issues and their expenditures.
Secondary Responsibilities:
Branch IT Coordinator
o Keep updated regarding Bank Alfalah’s IT related procedures and ensure their strict compliance.
o Handling all IT related issues in branch; ensure that only approved license software is installed in the PCs and Servers.
o Monitoring of daily system generated reports.
o Responsible for End of day and Start of Day processing.
o Backup management, including daily and periodic backup and its management.
Other secondary responsibilities include:
o Administration in-charge of the branch;
o HR related matters.
