• Responsible for the continued assessment, development, implementation and evaluation of programmes of care for all patients in the assigned unit.
• Responsible for the management and supervision of junior members of the team.
• Deputize for unit manager in the absence of the person with continuing responsibility and take charge of the unit as required.
• Provide safe quality ethical nursing care in accordance with the hospital policy and international standards of evidence based nursing practice.
• Promotes effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Assists Nurse Manager, in developing policies and procedure for the unit.
• Participates in quality improvement projects.
• Responsible in maintaining sufficient stock level of consumables as per unit requirements, follows cost containment practices.
• Ensure unit safety; perform risk assessment and management of the unit, as being a safety representative of the unit.
• Maintains documentation of patient care services by auditing patient and department records
• Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, conferences.
• Maintains a cooperative relationship among health care teams by communicating information; responding to requests; building rapport; participating in team problem-solving methods
Supervise all staff during shift.
Responsible for safe handling and issuing of Narcotics medicines.
Participates in educational program mes
Responsible for comprehensive patient care.
Make assure that all patient get good quality .and standardized care
Assist colleague during procedures.
