RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manage and resolve Service Requests logged by customers (internal and external) on Oracle products and contribute to proactive support activities according to product support strategy and model
Owning and resolving problems and managing customer expectations throughout the Service Request life cycle in accordance with global standards
Maintaining product expertise in assigned cluster
Reducing escalations
Working towards, adopting and contributing to new processes and tools (OWC, diagnostic methodology, health checks, scripting tools, etc.
Contributing to Knowledge Management content creation and maintenance
Working with development on product improvement programs (testing, BETA programs etc) as required
Operating within Oracle business processes and procedures
Respond and resolve customer issues within Key Performance Indicator targets
Maintain an up-to-date and in-depth knowledge of new products released in the market for the given cluster
Ensure the timely completion of planned proactive tasks and Service Requests
Record daily activities according to standard scheduling and reporting practices
Operate in line with Bug Diagnosis and Escalation/Development Bug guidelines in resolution of Bug related Service Requests
-Managing Oracle Exadata.
Manage and resolve Customer Requests according to product main strategy and model.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Database Administrator (Oracle 9i and Oracle 10g)
Creates and maintains all databases required for development, testing and production usage.
Managing the DB's storage structure.
Implements and enforces security for all of the Oracle Databases.
Administers all database objects, including tables, clusters, indexes, views, and procedures.
Proactively monitoring the DB's health and taking preventive.
Plan, Implement and Manage DB's availability (Backup & recovery).
Monitoring and optimizing performance tuning.
Troubleshoots problems regarding the databases, applications and development tools.
Install and upgrade new Oracle software versions on different platforms.
Good experience in RAC DB and ASM storage.
Assists with impact analysis of any changes made to the database objects.
Cloning both database and application.
Applying database patching.
Managing database unknown errors using oracle SR (Metalink).
Working as APPS DBA support for R12 implementation.
Troubleshooting R11, R12 and any oracle database for tuning and daily
Basis issues.
Install, Configuring, Manage and maintain Grid Control.
Hyperion installation and configuration.
Managing any Database upgrades.
Working as Focal point with oracle for any issues of oracle systems and Train the second staff.
