Job Responsibilities
• Preparing project quality plan, implementing Integrated Management System (IMS), conducting internal audits within the project and other projects within our organization; submitting Material Approval Request (MAR) and Method statements for all the activities and involved in approval from the client
• Performing & executing internal audits & internal and external site inspections of the Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality processes measuring performance by ensuring policies and procedures are being properly implemented
• Performing quality control of all pavement materials right from the stage of production, processing & up to laying, which involves identification of Borrow Areas, Mix Designs and Quality Control of GSB, ABC, Concrete with Micro silica and Asphalt works, DLC & PQC Mix Designs and Methodology for laying, Calibration of Lab Equipment, WMM Plants, Hot Mix Plants, Batching Plants and Inspection of all Plants & construction Sites at regular intervals in the process of implementation of Quality Control and Safe construction methodologies
• Interacting with the consultants and Client’s representatives, maintaining of Q.C. related registers, preparing ‘Status of quality control reports’& ‘monthly progress reports’ and submitting the same to the client & so on
• Inspecting facilities, assessing and reporting on compliance to the environmental permits and taking appropriate actions for improving the environmental performance
• Developing project baselines; monitoring & controlling projects with respect to cost, resource deployment, time over-runs and quality compliance to ensure satisfactory execution of projects
• Developing Concrete Mix Design & review of Asphalt (Bituminous) Mix Design and Job Mix Formula
• Organizing /participating in project review meetings for evaluating project progress & de-bottlenecking
• Formulating the Method Statement, Inspection Test Plan (ITP), Project Quality Plan and Quality Control Procedures (QCP); reviewing the sub-contractor’s procedure, method statement and ITP
• Collaborated with Government Agencies to obtain all technical sanctions and approvals for smooth execution of the Construction Projects
• Leading a team of QA/QC Inspectors; ensuring suitable deployment and timely availability of manpower (designers & engineers)
• Liaising with clients, architects, consultants, contractors, sub-contractors & external agencies for determining technical specifications, approvals and obtaining statutory clearances
• Conducting & executing Safety Internal Audits & Risk Assessment; implementing Health Safety Environment Management System and formulating First Aid Scheme with neighbouring industries
• Leading & executing the HSE cell for analysing the causes & reduce accidents, increase awareness among the employees towards maintenance of safe working conditions
• Writing reports about the results of inspections and investigations and following-up; investigating employee health & safety complaints; discussing findings and recommending possible solutions
