Performing traffic impact studies (TIS) by adapting and applying design standards and governmental regulations; coordinating with local authorities and clients; preparing drawings, reports, and calculations; conducting site visits; and obtaining governmental approvals.
Under the supervision of the leading professor, I was responsible for assisting in a variety of research tasks which may include preparing resources, equipment, materials, documenting results, designing and conducting questionnaire surveys, and publishing journal papers in support of the research activities. Also, I have participated in international conference to present our findings during the intermediate stages of the project. I have learned proper research procedures such as: oral/written communication skills; ability to work independently to solve technical and methodological issues; ability to apply sound research techniques, methodology and critical analysis; and strong organization and interpersonal skills.
I received my Master's in Urban Planning and Design in 2017. This education helped form my analytical mindset, which is well suited to a management role where I coordinate with my team and submit projects. I value continuous learning and want to ensure that my graduate degree applies to my day to day job.
I graduated with my Bachelor of Science in 2014 from Qatar University. I received a variety of scholarships due to strong grades. I was on the Dean's list and graduated with honors. This experience taught me pure dedication and how to manage deadlines.
