Cost Reporting Duties.
Reviewing Product costs, comparing with prior year and plan year.
Analyzing the variances, based on volume, productivity and costs.
Studying Products profitability on Monthly basis.
Budgeting and Forecasting Duties.
Preparing yearly Budget and 5 Year Forecast, by:
Coordinating with Sales Dept. to prepare the sales plan based on Market study, after reviewing the Current year results.
Cooperating with production Dept. to determine the production process requirement, and set up the planned product cost.
Reviewing Personnel FTE requirement, and setting up the Personnel Budget.
Reviewing the CAPEX investment, and studying the required financing options.
Merging the Sales/Production /Personnel /CAPEX Budget and preparing the Budgeted & 5 year forecast Financial Reporting.
Reviewing the budget on Monthly basis vs actual, and studying the Plan to go estimate.
Studying the recovery and improvement action, based on risks and opportunities.
Managerial Accounting dept. at Jordan Petroleum Refinery Company
Duties include:
Preparing financial statements on monthly basis.
Preparing report required by management.
Preparing department annual budget.
Planing and analyzing financial data to determine causes of budget variances.
Designing and implementing cost center procedures.
Providing cost budget analysis report to management.
Accomplishment:
Participating in developing and activating cost accounting, by working on a project that will help in specifying the unit cost of each product, and tracing the direct & overheads cost, which included as a first step studying the manufacturing operation as a whole in order to specify the activities in the operation, secondly tracing the products pass through the processes to be able to determine the percent of cost that should be allocated to each unit of each product resulted from that process, and as a final step calculating these percents from each process to reach to the total cost of each product. This process as known is an important step for pricing decision .
Participating in developing and activating Budgets in JPRC .
Establishing and managing the team worked on a new pricing Model using the IPP (Import Parity Prices) .
Working with the financial consultant recruited to work on the privatization process of our company.
