Complete Planning, supervision and inspection of the installation, modification and commissioning of mechanical, structural and piping systems at construction sites
Provides technical interpretation of design documents in support of construction managers, superintendents, and contractors and provides specific expertise for problem solving.
Coordinates completion of construction activities in assigned systems and prepares punch lists to ensure the readiness of systems for release for turn-over to the client or for start-up
Evaluates change requests and interfaces with the contract administrator for the initiation and development of contract modifications.
Maintains liaison with the design engineer to schedule and coordinate the release for construction of design documents in support of the construction schedule.
Ensure that all Mechanical site activities are conducted under controlled conditions as per shop drawings, method statements, specification and work plan
Continuously report to the project manager and construction manager about the progress, problems, materials and support required from others
identify various site resource and facility requirement for completing the project and create and implement a site facilities plan
Monitors subcontractor’s performance to ensure conformance to project quality, safety, security, and specification requirements.
Lead the Team on projects responsible to projects to ensure that all work is completed in respect of budget, schedule, quality and HSE
Assist procurement and project engineering personnel in the procurement and TBE of equipment and materials
Ensure compliance with design drawings and specifications along with the required approvals for drawings and materials
Strictly monitor the material flow from stores and advice the project manager of nearby possibilities of material shortage
Investigate equipment and system failures or unexpected maintenance problems and report to the senior engineers
Reviews Client's technical documentation and requirements.
Maintains project technical files and documentation (progress reporting and monitoring; materials control, handover, etc)
Controls subcontracted discipline engineering documents.
