• As an Analyst, the primary role involves resolving various trading breaks (Cash/Non-Cash rate breaks, share breaks & money breaks) between Northern and its brokers.
• Prepare Contract Compare report, Investigate & analyze discrepancies in the Contract Compare breaks and preparing resolution reports.
• Communicating with borrowers & traders to resolve Contract Compare breaks.
• Collateralizing securities lent out to the borrower.
• Settling of securities returned by the borrower done through The Depository Trust Company for various brokers Northern Trust deals with.
• Preparation of Aged Contract Compare Report & resolving the exceptions in due time.
• Preparation of Cash & Suspense Account reports to resolve the Cash exceptions.
• Assessing the daily Risk levels of Cash & Non-Cash collateral positions held by Northern.
