• Over 5 million dollars’ worth of Force Protection Equipment and its components are being well inspected; scheduled maintenance and repairing equipment performed daily.
The electronic technicians do operational checks, services, adjusts, lubricates, aligns, tests and monitors all Force Protection Equipment to include: Surveillance Cameras (CCTV& Digital), Under Vehicle Surveillance System (CUVSS & AUVIS), Tactical Automated Security System with all associated components, Explosive Detector (Barringer Ionscan Explosive Detector 400A, Smith400B), Secure 1000 (Backscatter), Rapiscan and Astrophysics Baggage X-Ray machine, Walk through and Hand held Metal detector, Vehicle and Cargo Inspection System (MVACIS and RVACIS), Pop up Barriers, Road Blocker, Drop Arm, Tire killer, Compressor, Control switch, Ups system, Voltage -regulators, Vapor Tracer Battery charger, Computer Hardware and Software Installation, Electrical Wiring, Radar speed Trailers, Port-A-Coolers, and numerous peripheral electronic devices.
• We maintain all Force Protection Equipment at full capacity no less than (90) ninety-percent of the time.
• Provides for non-duty hour response to interact with maintenance contractor or to perform quick fix actions to ensure full operation of Force Protection Equipment and components
• Assists with the monthly inventory and parts procurement
• Conducts daily and weekly equipment functional, operability tests and preventive maintenance services. Tests, inspects and isolates those items that are inoperative for packing and sending for immediate repairs.
• Assists in reporting tracking all work orders for the security department .Conducts periodic systems vulnerability checks and systems degradation reporting
• Completes daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance logs on all Force Protection Equipment
• Maintains records of all maintenance and repairs on all equipment
• Perform other duties as per supervisor.
Perform duties as an access screening associate linguist: conducting interviews and background checks on applicants requesting access to secured United States military facilities. Generate daily reports to the access screening security manager for review by military intelligence teams and installation commanders concerning matters of potential human intelligence value and assessment of threats discovered through interviews and background checks. Participate in initial and sustainment training regarding advanced interview techniques, methods of interview planning and conduct.
• Responsible for daily customer service, office administration, and filing support needed to entry area support group Kuwait installation.
• Administers and scans the personnel entry through metal detection devices. Also performs thorough body and baggage checking using security scan devices.
• Well versed with Body Scanners (Back Scatter Scanning Security Device). Scan personnel and belongings prior to entry into U.S Army Military Installation.
• Well trained in Defense Bio-Metrics Identification System, Gate Access Defense Manpower Data System and fully conversant with Pocket ID Scanner.
• Scrutinizes the access request application and ensure that the prescribed U.S Army forms are filled in correctly and all information is annotated as per the regulations and all necessary documents are attached with the access request application data base.
• Ensure that all documentations for installation entry badges are intact and scrutinize the documents for timely updated.
• Provides procedural assistance and instructions to visitors, contractor personnel and military seeking information regarding access to U.S.Army Central Kuwait Installation.
Prepare and process a wide variety of shipments; pull and package merchandise. Operate forklift, pallet mover, swing-reach truck, and picker to transport, stage, and store freight. Load and unload trucks, perform cycle counts, and utilize computer to track shipments and inventory. Coordinate warehouse operations to support internal and external customers; informally train new team members. Ensure compliance with (OSHA) Occupation Safety & Health, Organization and corporate regulations.
Bachelor of commerce degree completed in 2006. MS office (Excel, Word, and Power point) Internet & Email. From BDPS Software Ltd. Mangalore. Diploma in E- Finance from Maniple Institute of Computer Education Including Courses: Tally 7.2 vat enabled, Financial Management, Dac Easy, Peachtree, Focus Ex, Banking Software, Pharmacy Software, and Point of sale software & Hi Finance.
