Responsible of a unit with 33 bed capacity of NICU with data base of 85 nurses, with scope of services: extreme premature, multiple congenital malformation, cardiac and all prematurity complications.
I-Daily responsibilities:
• Follow up nurses’ performance, certificates updates, corrective actions, and verbal counseling.
• Random checking of assignment and Allocation.
• Follow up management with the doctors for the long stay & critical patients.
• Staff education about: NRP, BLS, fire drills, Pressure injury awareness.
II-Monthly responsibilities:
• Monthly Unit achievement
• NDNQI indicators including the infection control statistics and nursing care hours.
• Preparation of a schedule for 85 nurses.
