-Receiving purchase requisitions
-Suitable vendor selection and preparing and shooting out RFQ's
-Preparing bid summary of the quotations received from the suppliers
-Final negotiations on price and terms with all the approved vendors before final issue of the PO's
-Issuing PO and receiving acknowledgement for the same
-Following up and expediting the delivery from the suppliers
-Receiving and inspecting the materials in accordance to the acceptance criteria
-Coordination in payment in line with the invoice submitted
-Filing and saving of all the relevant documents for future reference.
