Responsibilities: As the Testing and Commissioning Manager, I am responsible for managing project activities with a focus on the following key areas: Solution Verification and Validation:
• Collaborate with Pre-sales, Technical Office, and Engineering Managers to verify the proposed solution's scope, compatibility, functionality, and integration goals.
• Ensure the solution aligns with customer requirements and validate its feasibility. Implementation Planning and Coordination:
• Work closely with the Construction Manager and Site Manager to develop comprehensive plans and phases for implementation, testing, and commissioning.
• Coordinate activities to ensure smooth execution of the plans. Technical Solutions and Support:
• Provide technical guidance and solutions to other lines of business, including Software
Engineering (software and integration development), Business Continuity (network components, firewalls, virtualization, storage technologies), and Jafeer (Cyber Security).
• Coordinate tasks and follow up with team members to ensure progress and timely completion. Proof of Concept (PoC) Development:
• Develop and conduct PoCs to showcase the solution's capabilities and validate technical aspects in collaboration with the customer implementation team after the purchase order (PO) is awarded.
Testing Process Management:
• Oversee the entire testing process, including internal workshops, factory acceptance tests (FAT), and site acceptance tests (SAT).
• Ensure rigorous testing of the system to meet quality standards and customer requirements. Customer Issue Resolution:
• Analyze customers' problems, resolve their complaints, and close issues promptly to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Maintain a proactive approach to address customer concerns and provide effective solutions. Site Activities and Support:
• Supervise and provide support to Smart Solutions' Engineers during panel building, commissioning, and project start-up.
• Collaborate with the team to ensure a successful handover of projects to consultants/clients.
• Offer technical assistance to team members in troubleshooting and resolving any technical issues.
Technological Advancement:
• studying new technologies emerging trends in ICT field.
• Conduct extensive testing to evaluate the reliability and performance of the overall solution.
• Keep abreast of the latest industry developments and incorporate relevant advancements into
project implementation.
