develop and implement new hardware, and software technology solution. Configure hardware and software
environments, incorporating all system components and inter-connectivity both internally and to other computer platforms.
Research and evaluate innovative hardware and software technology solutions to enable Customer to provide resilient
and cost effective services. Guarantee data/media recoverability by managing the scheduling of system backups and database
archive operations in conjunction with Data Centre Operations. Participate in all phases of total system planning and in the
generation of justifications and specifications for system requirements and enhancements. Provide technical expertise and consultancy, to both junior and senior management levels, for assigned projects and products. Liaise with other technicians
within customer, Development and external suppliers to ensure the delivery of specified services, projects and tasks.

Projects:

a) Upgrade the current Egyptian Ministry of Interior immigration system to a new modern
solution based on new technologies.

The Systems Engineer role is responsible for supporting computing platforms, storage and middleware (web servers,
application servers, content management systems). This can include both the development of new functions and facilities
and the on-going systems support of live systems.
The Systems Engineer also undertakes the design, implementation and maintenance of a stable and reliable
environment for the Data Center based processing platforms in line with service agreements.
