Underwriter and Claim Officer for General Department

- Processing claims from the receipt of the claim form through to settlement;
- Dealing with quotations for new and existing clients, collating information,
calculating the premium, co-ordinating with the surveyor for the risk assessment.
then issuing the quotation;
- Responsible for endorsements;
- Liaising with brokers, new and existing clients, surveyors;
- Evaluating re-insurance risk;
- Alerting head office regarding any unusual claims
- Processing of travel insurance
- Compiling of General department monthly production for head office
- General administrative duties including relieving receptionist and operator;
