As Procurement Manager, gained exposure in vendor selection process, reviewing and managing contractual obligations of international suppliers in accordance with the agreed terms and conditions of the purchase orders and in vendor evaluation. Responsibilities
•Strategically lead the development of the procurement planning for both raw materials and trading items based on the agreed terms and conditions.
•Select and prioritize strategic sourcing initiatives across categories and organizations.
•Monitor the negotiations with the vendors for commercial, technical and contractual obligations.

Responsible for all aspects of warehouse & logistics management, including demand planning and forecasting, reviewing all the logistics contracts, inviting new tenders yearly basis and budgetary controls as well as development of internal control systems, policies and procedures for the entire warehousing and logistics operations of the business. Part of Executive management team also responsible for providing leadership in decision making, planning and strategies formulations of the business. Responsibilities
•Create policies and procedures for warehouse and logistics activities.
•Resolve problems concerning transportation, logistics systems, imports or exports, or customer issues.
•Implement logistics management processes, such as selection, qualification, or performance evaluation.
•Monitor product import or export processes to ensure compliance with local regulatory or legal requirements
•Ensure carrier compliance with company policies or procedures for product transit or delivery.
•Plan or implement improvements to internal or external logistics systems or processes.
•Analyze the financial impact and propose logistics process changes, such as routing, shipping modes, product volumes or mixes, or carriers.
•Establish procedures and facilitate annual inventory count
•Ensuring goods are stored safely as per the storage requirements recommended by respective product manufacturers and local government regulations.
•Maintaining health and safety standards as per the QHSE policy.

Held full accountability for planning, controlling and directing all purchasing and inventory control activities. Assess supply/inventory options in order to determine best sourcing solutions. Interact extensively with suppliers, ensuring full service and satisfaction acquired. Maintain compliance with organizational standards and objectives. Responsibilities
•Develop source agreements that contributed to increase profits by standardizing contracts and improving purchasing programs.
•Overall control of purchasing activities for trading items, raw materials and consumables for production, stores and all other departments.
•Monthly review of inventory for trading items and raw materials to finalize quantities of required stock replenishment orders.
•Reduce dead stock through program initiation, proactive management, effective internal and external communication, and persuasive follow-up.
•Ensuring sufficient physical raw material stocks to avoid shortages for daily mass production
•Develop and implement all necessary policies and procedures to ensure that the purchasing function operates effectively
•Direct and control purchasing staff to ensure that they are well motivated and trained and that they carry out their responsibilities to the required standards
•Negotiate contracts with the suppliers who meet the company's requirements to secure the most favorable terms of business for the company
•Keep all contracts for the supply of goods and services under review to ensure that they are being carried out effectively and renegotiate terms, where necessary
