Job Summary
To assist and coordinate with safety engineer to promote awareness, provide guidance and direction for the operation of the organization's Safety Management System.

Duties & Essentials Job Function

•Maintain and apply current policies, regulations, and industrial processes.
•Conduct & report site safety inspection and air-side performance.
•Assess risks on site and make recommendations to responsible personnel to ensure all risks are managed & eliminated.
•Investigation of accidents / incidents, determine root causes, contributing factor and recommendations to prevent from future occurrence and follow up implementation of recommendations effectiveness.
•Brings to the attention of Safety Engineer any reported discrepancy not being adequately attended by the relevant person or in respect of any disagreement over the nature of the discrepancy.
•Monitor & update the safety equipments, fire pumps, and fire alarm panel.
•Complete & maintain all necessary documents, record & reports required.
•Conduct in house potable water test and maintained the record of potable water quality checks & external parties result.
•Assisting the Safety Engineer during the customers airlines Regulatory Authority Audit.
•To perform Safety Engineer functions in his absence or leave and report to CS Manager
> Responsible to comply with the applicable laws, regulations, and procedures of NAS and customers
> Exercising due diligence towards Health & Safety of self & others in the organization and also environmental protection.
> Responsible for Safety & Quality for the function / task performed.
> Responsible for reporting to his Superiors occurrences, events, violations & acts that may affect safety, security, and company reputation.

Key Performance Indicators

•Plan, implement, and coordinate safety programs to prevent or correct unsafe environmental working conditions, accidents / incidents. Raise awareness of staff on Safety.

Administrative & Secretarial

•Take over Department Secretary in his.her absence or leave.
•Responsible in monthly Safety Newsletter to be distributed to the whole corporation.
•Performed secretarial jobs like sending/ receiving emails, MOM, Making memos and other tasks assigned by superiors.

Administrative & Secretarial
•Renewal of Health Cards, Passports, and Residencies.
•Sending and receiving company mails.
•Checking and updating daily/monthly attendance, overtime, deductions using the Oracle System.
•Sending final payroll reports to accounts department for all the staff in ICP.
•Coordinating with respective department on matters concerning… Personnel, Payroll, Leaves Applications, Sick Leaves, Request for personal documents, overtimes etc. for all staff.
•Attending several meetings and prepares MOM (Minutes of Meeting) to be submitted to the management for information.
•Monitoring, issuing and ordering office and medical supplies for the department.
•Update & produce production papers using the spread sheets.
•Recording factory visits in management diaries and coordinate with the public relations officer of the company.
•Making Memo’s and Notices as required by the production manager.
•Filling all required paperwork in a consistent manner for easy retrieval.

Hiring & Recruitment
•Creating ERF/Vacancy in the oracle system for new position with all the requirements & qualifications of the new position created.
•Updating vacancies from resigned & terminated employees for FDP.
•Creating new job descriptions for new positions required in the company.
•Coordinating with the qualified candidate for an interview with the manager & after coordinate with the HR Department for formalities of hiring as per Kuwait Labor Law.

Production Duties (Inventory, Mixing, HACCP, & Safety)
•Make-up daily base mix requirement according to production plan.
•Take weekly/monthly stock balance for mixing materials.
•Make plan and take weekly/monthly inventory of cups and lids use for production.
•Involved in yearly and monthly inventory for closing the books.
•Creating new safety policies for each machine and checking safety within the department.
•Implementing new & approved HACCP rules in FDP.
•Attending HACCP monthly meeting for the KDD
