• Review all MR’s and LPO’s for further verification in all terms, to make sure that the same is processed as per policy; this includes the review and verification of the criteria used to select certain supplier (Comparison Sheet). Also includes the approval of each LPO prior to the signature of Operations Manager and Managing Director.
• Monitor all projects related costs and expenditures and to make sure all services and materials are obtained at the best cost possible and ensure that all purchases are within the approved budget and issue variance reports on monthly basis.
• Prepare BCWP, ACWP and Cost to Complete in coordination with Project Director’s and Site Team.
• Prepare Cost Overrun Approvals with site justifications and preventive/corrective recommendations.
• Follow cost control procedures and code of accounts using ERP System (Right ERP & Horizon EBS)
• Coordinate with Finance department on posting actual cost and issues related to asset register. Controls of assets/material transfer from/to project site.
• Coordinate with project team for the reconciliation between the pre and post contract documents.
• Prepare and present the Monthly Cost Reports during Cost Control Meeting with Project Control Manager, Project Director, Commercial Manager, Operations Manager and Managing Director.
• Maintain, monitor and control project budgets, through Project Controls system, and issue variance reports on monthly basis

Duties:
• Prepare Interim/Monthly Payment Application based on actual site accomplishments and expedite issuance of Payment Certificates and Close out of Final Accounts.
• Prepare, assessed and agree Variation/Change Order with Engineer & Clients.
• Responding value engineering/proposed negative variations of the Engineer by ensuring it is within the Contract.
• Liaise regularly with Client’s Commercial Representative; understand their commercial requirements and processes within the Terms of Contract in coordination with Project Manager & Commercial Manager.
• Analyze and understand the terms and Condition of the Main Contract and Subcontracts. Ensure senior project staff’s have basic understanding of content and obligations.
• Evaluate and approve supplier/subcontractor invoices as per Contract Agreement and prepare Payment Certificate to be signed by Project Control, Contracts and Project Manager.
• Prepare and submit weekly report with regards to status of progress accomplishment, in terms of detailed quantity take-off, progress billing report and for cash flow.
• Maintain and update tracking log’s regularly (Interim Payment, VO’s, SC/Supplier PC, Bonds & Insurances, etc.)
• Attend regular progress meeting with Subcontractor’s/Suppliers and action any commercial issues that may rise
• Prepared detailed data/report on Project commercial issues or disputes for Commercial and Project Manager with recommendations for review and resolution.
• Facilitate accurate and timely quantity take off’s and any Bill of Quantity required for inquiries, subcontracts value engineering or the like.
• Coordinate with other Departments such as Planning, Procurement, Engineering, Administration and QHSE to ensure satisfactory commercial support.
