Duties and Responsibilities:
• Reports directly to the CEO with regards to Occupational Health & Safety and environmental matters.
• Ensures that the health and safety requirement of the company complies with the legal boundaries of
UAE laws and regulations and local municipality requirements.
• Responsible for drafting the annual EHS programs, implementation, review and continual
improvements of the programs.
• Establish SMART EHS targets and objectives and incorporate in the EHS programs.
• Communicate with managers and team members of existing and potential hazards related to their
work and implement programs to eliminate these hazards.
• Draft, implement, reviews, monitor and update the company’s safety policy.
• Ensures that all levels of the organization are well aware of their responsibilities for EHS matters and
assist them in performing their responsibilities.
• Ensures that the company’s safety department personnel are competent and equipped with qualified
and experienced safety staff.
• Maintains a suitable level of contact with the different federal agencies of the government of UAE.
• Ensures that all company business endeavors are inspected and reports generated
• Verify that all accidents, near miss are properly reported, analyzed and investigated to provide
appropriate corrective and preventive action thus, preventing recurrence.
• Ensures that all pertinent documents are maintained in the HSE department.
• Promotes safety awareness to all levels of the organization and initiates or conducts trainings
appropriate to the nature of work assignments of employees.
• Establish an Emergency preparedness Plan (e.g fire drill, earthquake drill, etc) and evaluate its
effectiveness. Records to be kept for verification.
• Generate Monthly, yearly HSE performance reports and disseminate the results company wide.
• Responsible for reviewing of the “EHS/HSE manual and recommends any revisions as needed.
• Responsible for implementing Geotechnical Soil investigation Drilling Rig Operation HSE
Management and Control, Radiation Safety Program and Chemical Hazard Communication Program.
• Acts as the focal point of the company with regards to Occupational Health and Safety matters in
coordinating with government authorities.
• Attend the Management Review Meeting and submit the reports related to the Department as well as
proposed improvement plans (if any).
• Responsible for the certification and monitoring of all lifting equipments.
• Chairs the EHS committee meeting on a regular basis ( at least four times a year )
• Establish plans and program for the preservation of company building structure. Including repairs,
renovation and modifications.
• Responsible for the regular maintenance of drainage system, plumbing system and water tanks.
• Ensures that all electrical wiring system in the company is safe and passed UAE electrical code
regulations.
• Responsible for maintaining and repairing all testing equipments, including preventive maintenance
• Responsible for the preventive maintenance and repair of all Air conditioning system of all
branches.(If needed)
• Any task that may be assigned by the management from time to time.
Duties and Responsibilities: Position- (Radiation Protection Adviser)
• Review and approve the Radiation Safety Program of the Company
• Provision of an operational file which serves to formalize the company’s approach to Radiation
protection and compliance with the regulation.
• Keeping up to date with emerging and changing legislation / guidance affecting the company in
relation to the use of radioactive materials, and dissemination of information on this to the company.
• Technical assessment, from an occupational health and safety point of view, of proposals to the
management for radiation safety
implementing (HSE) best practices and performing risk management duties. Work with the
management to implement HSE policies, goals, priorities and key performance measures. Conduct
site and office based safety and response readiness training and exercise activities.
• Participate in the development of waste minimization and environment impact. Participate in the
development of HSE training programs.
• Assist in environmental studies and provide HSE support to line functions.
• Promote excellence through the company in safety matters through continuous safety improvement
initiatives.
• Assist in reporting of accidents, incidents and anomalies.
• Update the management if there will be a changes or revisions of international Codes and Standards,
Industry Best Practice and Safety Regulations local and international requirements for compliance.
• Investigate all site HSE related incidents, including near misses, to an appropriate level.
• Analyze immediate and root causes, determine future action to reduce these occurrences.
• Coordinate and participate in the provision of HSE awareness in accordance with ISO 14001 and
OHSAS 18001 specifications.
• Ensure Health, Safety and Environmental programs and procedures are communicated to and
regularly reinforced with site personnel.
• Review and provide comments regarding contractor developed HSE plans and procedures.
• Preparation of all health, safety and environmental requirements for the demonstration of ALARP and
creating a safety work place.
• Prepare programs and arrange participation training sessions in conjunction with line management.
• Conduct Internal Audit (IMS) Integrated Management System QHSE audit in each every department in
the organization for ISO 9001:2008 QMS, ISO 14001:2004 EMS and OHSAS 18001:2007 standards
specification.
• Developing and implementing Permit to Work System manuals and serve as a guide for safe systems
of work.
• Developing and implementing Safety Training in all aspect in-line with the employee job responsibility
and working process as a key on Safety risks
• Lead and facilitate Process Hazard Analysis (PHA) studies such as HAZID, HAZOPs, LOPA
• Provides expert advice and assistance to design, construction and maintenance engineers and
operating personnel on all matters pertaining to safety engineering.
• Lead Safety Department for engineering reviews of fire and safety designs of mega CRA Pipe Line
spooling fabrication projects in the fabrication plant and site area.
• Support in the preparation, reviews, and analysis of quantitative risk assessments, building risk
assessments, and facility setting studies.
• Represent the project team and company for factory audit, inspections, presentations, seminars for
the improvements of safety management systems.
• Contribute to maintaining and enhancing the occupational safety and health as well as the
environmental issues and control.
Job Summary:
Glass Forming Shift Engineer assist the Glass Forming Manager / Head in attaining the
department’s objectives, and is mainly responsible for the set up of working parameters for all
glass forming equipments, plans pre-production of every job, develops and monitors S.O.P's, and
ensures that good quality bottles are produced with high productivity at all times.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Prepares and analyzes job instructions, checks and ensures bottle dimensions as per specifications
and does or gives instruction/s as a correction for machine operation problems and defect/s.
• Gathers data and prepares reports for management’s consumption.
• Files job history every end of run in specific job project.
• Creates plans and programs, and initiates activities for continual improvement.
• Prepares post job analysis and formulates corrective action/s for next run regarding problem/defects
encountered.
• Conducts pre-job planning session with GF, Job Change and MRM personnel to discuss details of the
activity and other instructions.
• Recommends replacement of mold set and design revision as a corrective action on bottle defects
attributed to mold.
• Provides inputs to customer relation personnel regarding product complaint’s most possible cause
and necessary corrective action/s.
• Performs other related tasks that may be assigned from time to time.
• Manage and upgrades bottle quality through constant inspection and monitoring of system on-line
production.
• Trains and develop glass forming personnel.
• Implement necessary analysis and corrections regarding bottle defects.
• Responsible for identification, collection, indexing, filing, storage, maintenance and disposition of all
quality records for the department.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Assist to develop and updates safety training matrixes, schedules and course information.
• Ensuring/monitoring the effective use of PPE and right tools on the right jobs

• Periodic checking of all fire fighting equipments, imparting first aid & fire fighting training for all
employees, conducting mock fire fighting drills.

• Liaison with subcontractors and plant operators to ensure awareness of all safety requirements.
• Preparing safety bulletins and notices.

• Monitoring all safety issues to prevent and stop dangerous work practices.
• Conducting regular plant inspections, attend and host regular meeting

• Analyze all dangerous occurrences and practices and recommend for correcting
• Control of hazardous material and its safe storage based on internal procedure.
