 Develop lesson and trimester plans and where necessary, make modifications;
 Coordinate, implement and facilitate ADEC’s curriculum for English;
 Teach curriculum in ways that engage, challenge and motivate students by using differentiated instruction;
 Include Emirati culture and heritage where possible and appropriate;
 Participate in in-school moderation of student assessments;
 Ensure that the all student assessments are conducted in a timely manner and that results are recorded as per ADEC requirements;
 Regularly reporting of student progress to parents;
 Organise student excursions where both Arabic and English teachers jointly plan and supervise the excursions;
 Perform substitute teaching and other duties as required;
 Attend weekly department and monthly school meetings.
