Working in BBDO is challenging and exciting experience. BBDO is a worldwide advertising agency network, with its headquarters in New York City. The agency began in 1891 and currently with more than 15, 000 employees in 289 offices in 80 countries.
As an American company we have to adhere to the IT Standards laid by Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX) .My core responsibility is to execute and maintain those Standards and IT controls which are subjected to quarterly IT Audits.
I prepare the quarterly IT budgets for CAPEX forecasting the needs in our office.
Being ITIL Certified I was able to deliver the IT services more diligently to the core departments of the company. I introduced incident management into the mainstream of IT operations.
I administer the in-house developed Time-sheet system and an Intranet portal for employee appraisals, Employee Leaves.
As a part of an Advertising agency I provide the maximum technical support to the Creative and Client Servicing Departments with regard to Macintosh products, Secured file transfers, Digital Backup, procuring and upgrading the latest Creative tools, VOIP phone connectivity between our offices in the region.
Technically I maintain the Windows Servers, Routers, dedicated VPN links between the branches and file shared servers.
I was assigned the responsibility of managing the IT infrastructure in the company. In my tenure of three year, we purchased and implemented SAGE. I had a huge role to play in customization of the ERP from the service providers in accordance to the company and its management requirements.I ensured IT services was delivered to all staff effectively.
