Jaweria Establishment an Oil & Gas Contracting and Service Company with foreign Canadian Investment Group, which has major contracts with SABIC and Tamimi (TAFGA) in Jubail and Yanbu, where I worked as Head of branch to run Daily Street Buying Project with five different plants in Yanbu, as YANSAB, IBN RUSHD, YANPET, GAS YNABU and SABTANK YANBU. Major responsibilities include:
Branch Responsibility
1. Direct all Sales and operational aspects including distribution operations, customer service, human resources and administration
2. Manage contracts and the performance of contractors
3. Assess local market conditions and identify current and prospective sales opportunities
4. Manage Budget and allocate funds appropriately
5. Reporting to Head Office
Client Responsibilities
1. Follow up with clients and team to ensure that all RFQ has been responded well on time and keep track
2. Follow up on going projects and deliveries on daily basis,
3. Meeting with customers and resolving any problems or complaints
4. Ensure all invoices submitted on timely and follow up receivables
Procurement Responsibilities
1. Sourcing, Negotiation and finalize term and condition with Foreign Vendors for Project Material and services
2. Layout the appropriate plans with Purchasing Heads for approved material from each plant on daily basis and ensure their timely deliveries.
3. Keep the competition alive between Vendors to get best product & services at best prices.
4. Ensures availability of merchandise and services by approving contracts; maintaining inventories.

Assistant Manager Supply Chain 2009 to 2016
1. Supply Chain Operations: Involved in planning, organizing, and executing the supply chain functions as Head of Department and ensuring that all Supply Chain activities adhered to company policies and procedures
2. Procurement: Vendors lookup, negotiation, raising purchase orders, and active follow ups till delivery of goods/services
3. Logistics (Import/Export): Execute and supervise the commands to manage the performance of international carriers and logistics intermediaries. Practically dealing with all aspects of import/export, including licenses, documentation, NOCs, customs and bank guarantees, line of credit for plants and machineries etc
4. Customs Clearance: Supervise all matters pertaining to Customs Department, clearing agents, and brokers for timely and hassle free clearance of consignments
5. Transportation: Plan and supervise transportation of materials and personnel to and from rig sites. Assess appropriate material handling equipment needs and staffing levels to load, unload, move, or store materials
6. Supplier Management: Bring in certified local suppliers, contractors, and services providers with better rates and quality products. Managing strategic relationships with key suppliers and industrial entities
7. Bridge between Supply Chain and Finance: Scrutiny of invoices and verification with supply chain documentation. Follow up with Finance department to ensure cash disbursal according to plans and schedules of Supply Chain.
8. Special Assignments: Ensure all required protocols put in place by govt. agencies are met for import, storage, logistics, and usage of explosive, radioactive, and other hazardous materials.
Was part of ETS Supply Chain team that handled charter cargo project for Eastern Group to establish EITS (Eastern International Testing Services) base in Erbil, Iraq. Actively participated in procurement, rental, lease, and then export of all equipment from Islamabad to Erbil via Ilyushin Il-76.
