Accountabilities/Responsibilities:
Provides the Delivery of Training Programs to targeted clients.
Conducts computer training and assessments to the clients by collecting information pertaining to work, workflow, reports, and job specific tasks.
Determines IT system utilization requirements and resources; conducts testing.
Assist in the Design of Training packages by identifying and describing information needs;
Maintains safe and healthy training environment by following RTO standards and legal regulations.
Conducts training classes by delivering IT comprehensive units of competencies by contextualizing the program to suit client needs.
Ensures operation of equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements;
Maintains quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards.
Evaluates training by evaluating effectiveness of training to specific job applications.
Maintains technical knowledge by up skilling through trainings provided to Trainers.
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Adhere to mentor’s advice for smooth delivery of training programs.
Major Achievements:
Providing an on-going Cert II - Digital Media and Technology to 4 communities i.e. St. Peter Chanel, Epping Memorial, Vipont, Footscray, and Cowper, Footscray.
Accountabilities/Responsibilities:
Provide technical leadership as a subject matter expert to the Storage and Backup Services Group to ensure the continued operational capability of the Managed Storage and Backup systems.
Provide authoritative expert advice on complex issues associated with Storage and Backup technologies and solutions for Service Operations Management.
Designed, implemented, and Migrated from different Backup enterprises of Department of Justice(DOJ) such as Data Protecot, BackupExec, Data Protection into one Backup Infrastructure using Netbackup 7.5. and its latest technologies such as Optimized Dedup, VMWARE intergration, and NBU appliances 2.5.3.
Migrated and transformed about 600 different platforms (Unix. Linux, and Windows) and its applications to use efficient Storage and Backup strategies using Netbackup and Netapp technologies.
Proposed realistic, achievable, and working design such as finding solutions for the Department of Health and Human Services (DHS) using Data Protector 8.0 and its components such as SMB (Split mirror Backup), VMWARE integrations, StorageWorks EVA, Database Agent Extensions.
Participates to the discussions of storage and backup solutions among project stakeholders such as architect, solution designers, and other relevant key persons based from Client requirements.
Identify, assess and resolve operational issues on the Storage and Backup Services platform.
Manages the technical build of approved solutions and services within the Backup / Storage environment.
Prepares technical reports at an authoritative level, as well as being able to communicate such information in an appropriate manner to CenITex’s internal stakeholders and vendors. Ensure completion of necessary written technical documents is in accordance with CenITex’s standard templates.
Contributes to the planning of identified training requirements for transition solutions implemented into the operational groups.
Acst as a role model and embody the organisation’s values in all day-to-day activity.

Provides leadership in the area of Occupational Health & Safety (OH&S) by promoting and implementing work safe principles across all areas of responsibility and take reasonable care for own health and safety and the health and safety of other people who may be affected by your conduct in the workplace.
Exercises authority in relation to People and Culture delegations as required under the Public Administration Act 2004 and detailed in the People and Culture delegations schedule (where applicable).
Exercises delegated authority where applicable in relation to the CenITex Financial Delegations policy and procurement policy.
Responsible for the client storage solution delivery in accordance with the company policy i.e. HP ES Quality Management System (QMS).
Responsible for interpretation and implementation of DPS (Detailed Proposal Summary) for backup solutions of Origin’s critical and non-critical applications.
Involves in the migration of storage backup and recovery from different data centres to HP Leveraged Data Center.
Seek guidance from Project Manager, Storage Architects, and Technical Stakeholders pertaining to project work.
Coordinates with Storage Architect(s) and Lead Engineer for solution direction.
Coordinates with stakeholders such as Architect, Chief Engineer, PM & Customer to determine/validate the requirements.
Completes tasks assigned (such as document creation, solution development, testing, and so forth)
Provides input to the project schedule, scope and Engineer Solution Checklist task status
Attends project meetings and provides status on the tasks or deliverables assigned
Leads or attends Peer Reviews for project deliverables
