Accountabilities/Responsibilities:
Provide technical leadership as a subject matter expert to the Storage and Backup Services Group to ensure the continued operational capability of the Managed Storage and Backup systems.

Provide authoritative expert advice on complex issues associated with Storage and Backup technologies and solutions for Service Operations Management.

Designed, implemented, and Migrated from different Backup enterprises of Department of Justice(DOJ) such as Data Protecot, BackupExec, Data Protection into one Backup Infrastructure using Netbackup 7.5. and its latest technologies such as Optimized Dedup, VMWARE intergration, and NBU appliances 2.5.3.

Migrated and transformed about 600 different platforms (Unix. Linux, and Windows) and its applications to use efficient Storage and Backup strategies using Netbackup and Netapp technologies.


Proposed realistic, achievable, and working design such as finding solutions for the Department of Health and Human Services (DHS) using Data Protector 8.0 and its components such as SMB (Split mirror Backup), VMWARE integrations, StorageWorks EVA, Database Agent Extensions.

Participates to the discussions of storage and backup solutions among project stakeholders such as architect, solution designers, and other relevant key persons based from Client requirements.


Identify, assess and resolve operational issues on the Storage and Backup Services platform.

Manages the technical build of approved solutions and services within the Backup / Storage environment.


Prepares technical reports at an authoritative level, as well as being able to communicate such information in an appropriate manner to CenITex’s internal stakeholders and vendors. Ensure completion of necessary written technical documents is in accordance with CenITex’s standard templates.


Contributes to the planning of identified training requirements for transition solutions implemented into the operational groups.
