• Led the process for modification in piping that increased flexibility in naphtha processing, eliminating common circuits in two systems, allowing to keep slop reprocessing in distillation units while aligning feed to naphtha stabilizer, minimizing slop inventory.

• Monitoring: Make a monthly report from the process units, indicating load, yields, operational events, bottlenecks and recommendations to improve the throughput of the units. Daily visits to the field to detect deviations. Share the information with the operations people and solve the problems.
• Design: Specify new equipment (Drums, heat exchangers, towers internals, pumps) and facilities to increase the units flexibility and throughput. Management of process simulators (Pro II, Inplant, Hextran)
• Inspections: During the turnarounds of the units inspect the main equipments (Towers, drums, lines) and made sure that are in optimal conditions for the next run.
• Evaluating and Design of control strategies: Evaluate the existing control strategies and designing of new ones, trying to minimize the process variations and bottlenecks.
