Responsibilities
1. Patient Care
a. Addressing patient problems and resolving them to the satisfaction of the patient
b. Providing information to patient and their families on various hospital processes
2. Quality Improvement
a. HIS related - Ensuring forms are updated in HIS in accordance to Quality standards
b. MRD audit review
c. Being a Quality Champion and supervising the processes in wards and suggesting reforms

4. Supervising the work of Ward secretaries and Medical transcriptionists
5. Daily reporting of floor issues on dashboard
6. Convening the department ward unit meeting. Coordinating with doctors and Nursing Supervisor for monthly Chairman’s review.

1. Improved the Pre-procedural hand washing compliance rate in Neuroscience ward from 36% to 99% through continuous education and monitoring.
2. Created a cohort group of Neuroscience patients on 7th IPD by coordinating planned admissions, OT and discharges
3. Contributed to successful JCI accreditation within the department by implementing and organizing staff education program.
4. Reduced the median TAT for cross referrals addressed by neuroscience doctors in IPD through innovative IT intervention
5. Significantly reduced and stabilized patient fall rates in IPD through stringent staff, patient and family education program
6. Improved MRD completeness compliance by dieticians to 100% in Neuroscience ward
7. Streamlined the discharge process in terms of patient satisfaction and TAT for bed availability
