Mr Kraemer is a Certified Building Practitioner RBP. BSc. Civil Eng. PMP. with extensive experience in building systems and management for securing the key activities for successful project execution . This qualified him to administer the Architectural, Civil, Electrical and Mechanical PM-CM Division of BECHTEL at the New Doha Int. Airport and KEO on the award winning QSTP project (Qatar Science & Technology Park).
During 30 years in this industry, he has managed a wide range of developments including steel and composite high rise construction, plant room fit-outs, prototype research & development, focusing on the accomplishment of essential building and infrastructure projects within budget and planned dates.

Oversee all MEP installations to commissioning stage. This includes design work necessary for BMS graphics and TCP modifications, including the in/out going baggage handling/RFID conveyors, access control and elevator systems. Coordinate with civil construction and design teams. Produce T&C KPI schedule and meetings minutes documentation and correspondence as required.
Identify and manage design teams in closing NFPA code and statutory authority compliance issues.

Initiate Bechtel Zero rework and six sigma Quality Assurance processes. Maintain OH&S, contractual reporting/meeting processes. Oversee Testing, Commissioning and handover document delivery. Support Qatar Airways Services Operational Readiness Airport Trails. Supervise life safety and fire protection T&C including 52 VESDA-FM200 rooms and multiple pre-action systems.

Engaged to manage this Landmark project, Mr. Kraemer was responsible for overseeing the Architectural, Civil, and Electrical /Mechanical PM-CM teams of KEO. After completion of the final stages of the civil works he assumed the leading role in facilitating the integration of state of the art research centres for major corporations such as Chevon, Barwa, Maersk and Exxon-Mobil within the complex.
In addition to interfacing with clients, consultants, CDD/ local authorities and other KEO divisions, Mr. Kraemer continues to be closely involved in the day to day review of KEO’s infrastructure upgrades for the expansion of the facility’s new national data centre for Meeza/Qatar foundation.
His responsibilities also included compliance to design, individual program time lines and use of specified materials including methods of construction in accordance with QCS/ ISO 9000 standards in extreme climatic conditions. His department was directly responsible to the client to maintain the critical path planning.

On the last project the Job involved working in the lead role of Design and Construction for the Main contractor : DODO telecommunications-Multi-storey office development in reinforced concrete construction built over an existing retail development.
Richard was employed to manage this development through all stages of design, geotechnical testing, engineering, major plant requirements and supervision of contract estimating including sub-contract tender packages.
Reporting directly to the company board of directors Richard was responsible for municipality planning and building department submissions as well as liaising with infrastructure and road planning authorities.
As the primary telecommunication centre for the customers mobile and data networks, civil works involved major tunnel, access ducting and bridge work to accommodate the utilities within the existing retail district.
The client required Mr Kraemer to fully over see the FOB cable provisions and fabrication including the logistics for the delivery of the steelwork work and protective coatings on all communications towers and architectural features.
