- Liaising with clients, quantity surveyor, architects, consultants, contractors, sub-contractors & external agencies for determining technical specifications, approvals and other clarifications.
-Reviewing progress of subcontracts and apprising management on financial, legal or technical issues.
- Prepare certification of sub-contractor’s monthly invoice against work done.
Job Profile - Tender Department (Pre-Contract):
Review of Tender documents to check its completeness and find any discrepancy on the Drawings, BOQ and Specifications.
Raised inquiries to the Client/Consultant on the tender documents discrepancies, missing items on BOQ and scope of works and tender queries of the Subcontractor.
Consolidate and review all tender addenda and post tender clarifications to ensure that all changes are considered in the take-off and pricing.
Quantity Take Off for all Civil/Architectural elements with the aid of Auto-CAD/Planswift software based on pricing preambles and compiling the Tender BOQ with proper description
Prepares documents for different packages (bill) for inquiries and quotations.
Make follow up to the subcontractors regarding floated queries for pricing.
Gather, compare and analyze quotations at bid stage and seek clarifications with regards to exclusions/qualifications of scope of works.

Liaise with the Design/Engineering department regarding the scope of work and the Bill of Quantities.

Monitor consumption trends and current stock levels of materials in order to plan future requirements and replenish stocks as necessary. In addition, monitor materials issues against actual usage in order to determine the waste factor and report findings to the Project Manager/Commercial Manager.

Prepare, update and track monitoring key plan on project monthly progress accomplishments.
