Project Lead on a varied range of new build and refurbishment construction projects for the education estate
Lead on estate planned maintenance, latent defective works, heritage restoration, and retrofit of low carbon technologies.
Manage the procurement of multi-disciplinary consultants.
Manage the RIBA Stage 0-4 design stages and pre-construction programme.
Responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining effective project and programme management methodologies to ensure the successful execution of projects.
Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to gather requirements, feedback, and expectations, ensuring alignment with the Borough’s corporate vision and goals.
Responsible for establishing effective project governance, processes and systems to be utilized throughout the project (risk registers, change control, decision trackers, communication trackers, etc.)
Demonstrating great commercial awareness and understanding to drive down costs and achieve the best value for money on behalf of the Borough.
Project Value : £200 million.
Project Lead on Somerleyton Road Mixed-Use Development comprised a theatre, community and employment space, and a residential development.
Responsible for reviewing and advising on the initial erroneous procurement process to appoint the main contractor to deliver the scheme.
Manage the tender evaluation process and governance for the appointment of the main contractor.
Responsible for managing relationships with a wide range of community stakeholders, project management teams, statutory bodies, and bidding contractors
Demonstrating commercial awareness and insight to agree on the final contract sum with the main contractor.
