1.Thermal rating of all types e.g. Fixed tubesheet (AEM, BEM, NEN, AEL), Floating Head type (AES, BES, AET, BET), U tube type (AEU, BEU), exchangers with longitudinal baffle (AFT-two pass shell), BHU (double split flow), BGU (split flow), Kettle type (AKU, BKU) shell & tube exchangers using HTRI exchanger Suite Xist 7.2 (SP2)
2.Thermal rating of double pipe & multitube exchangers using Xjpe & Xhpe modules in HTRI
3.Making final thermal datasheet from process datasheet to submit to Static Equipment Engineer
4.Preparing tube layouts & baffle sketches to submit to Static Equipment Engineer.
5.Vibration analysis using TEMA Standards.
6.Analysis of Tube Vibrations & Acoustic Vibrations.
7.Use of support plates & detuning (deresonating) baffles to avoid tube vibrations & acoustic vibrations respectively.
8.Use of Double segmental baffles & NTIW (No Tube In Window design)
9.Thermal rating of single phase, two phase, condensers (steam condensers), gas-gas exchangers, thermosyphon reboilers, kettle reboilers etc. Entrainment calculations for kettle reboilers & deciding kettle diameter.
10.Thermal rating of Stacked Exchangers (in series) & parallel (dividing the shell flow) exchangers. To check if stacking is required by identifying cross in the temperatures.
