Key Responsibilities:
Marketing and Promotions
• Coordinate the development of the annual marketing calendar covering various types of promotions and events and participate in creating and executing integrated marketing campaigns.
• Work with the key advertising agency to plan and implement marketing activities in order to deliver all predefined business and sales objectives.
• Develop media plans covering local, regional, national and specialist publications, identify advertising opportunities and release advertisements ensuring optimum media mix to deliver campaign and organizational objectives.
• Administer the annual marketing budget, allocating and monitoring utilization of resources along with control of costs for maximizing return on investment (ROI).
• Supervise production and distribution of marketing materials, interfacing with designers and printers during the production phase and ensure effective distribution and utilization by the marketing and sales team.
• Contribute to the development of marketing strategies and plans to achieve predefined reach and penetration among target customer segments and markets.
• Evaluate effectiveness of ongoing marketing campaigns against agreed objectives and coordinate with the advertising agencies and marketing teams for appropriate fine tuning and changes.
• Maintain an up-to-date database of customers to provide strategic inputs for marketing and account planning and enable effective marketing communications.
• Manage promotion of the company and its products by organizing and participating in events like conferences, seminars, receptions and exhibitions along with sourcing and securing of sponsorships.
• Plan and execute market research using appropriate methodologies like eliciting customer feedback through questionnaires and focus groups to gain up-to-date strategic insights.
• Collaborate with multiple stakeholders including customers, suppliers, partner organizations and colleagues ensuring resolution of issues and synchronization of actions to deliver business objectives.
Staff Management
• Analyze departmental workloads and prepare workflows, assign tasks and brief employees of assigned jobs, monitoring on time and quality completion of departmental works.
• Participate in conducting periodic performance appraisals of employees to identify development needs and provide required training and motivation to improve efficiency and productivity.
• Deal with all employee complaints and problems and coordinate with appropriate departments like HR and accounts in providing satisfactory solutions.
• Maintain personnel records of employees such as leave, promotions and transfers as per company policies and procedures. Ensure that employees comply with company policies and procedures.
