Managing total of 2.7 lakhs sqft warehouse with close to 400 direct distributors and 20 MT customers across
Kerala and Tamilnadu region with 5 CFA’s.
• Integrate with Customer Service and DRP to achieve high level of operational efficiency and ensure timely
delivery of orders to customers in full without any logistical failure
• To study and Plan Secondary distribution network/ Infrastructure basis Volume Progression as per OPL/MBS
to ensure achieving required service levels at minimal distribution cost without any violation of distribution
quality standards
• Complete periodic review of Customer Service Plan and route optimization in co-ordination with Customer
Service, Warehouse & Sales team to ensure optimum VFR and Compliance in transport while maintaining the
agreed service levels
• Overseeing region-wise Supply Chain operational functions at the assigned business units to include
receiving, internal distribution and delivery, warehousing, inventory and par management/replenishment,
transportation, contract implementation and conversion.
• Constant evaluation/monitoring of CFA Processes and performance - developing ideas and guidance to
support continuous improvement and operational efficiencies in both the region.
• Responsible to maximize productivity, quality, and service throughout operations by utilizing best practice
techniques in the areas of facilities layout, methods, material handling concepts, technological
enhancements, and measurements
• Monitor the progress of region’s key performance indicators (KPIs- OTD, order fill rate, VFR, Productivity,
CCA, FIFO, CSPA, Warehouse utilisation, Primary detention, Vehicle mix) monthly and conducting MOR with
team.
• Coordination with sales, Order fulfilment team, T hub and factory supply chain for the maximum execution of
Direct invoicing from factories
• Ensure proper service availability from Transporters and periodical performance review for the improvement
• Ensure proper safety and quality adherence in DC operations as per Nestle standards
• Designed the territory freight retail geography and CSP to deliver local orders in 4 hrs and upcountry orders
within 24 hrs
• Timely execution of new Capex requirements in cost effective manner
• Identification of new vendors in all the service-related areas to optimize the cost and improve the service
SLAs with periodical AMCs renewal
• Periodical agreement revisions of CFA (Handling and FMR) and verify the monthly claims as per the approvals
Overseeing region-wise Supply Chain operational functions at the assigned Business Units to include receiving,
internal distribution and delivery, warehousing, inventory and par management/replenishment, transportation,
contract implementation and conversion.
• Constant evaluation/monitoring of CFA and RDC Processes and performance - developing ideas and guidance to
support continuous improvement and operational efficiencies across the region.
• Responsible to maximize productivity, quality and service throughout operations by utilizing best practice
techniques in the areas of facilities layout, methods, material handling concepts, technological enhancements and
measurements
• Conducting monthly scanning based physical stock verification with the support Commercial team for the
accuracy of stock status and accountability by CFA Management.
• Monitor progress of plant/area/ region’s key performance indicators (KPIs- Timely despatch and fill rates,
Customer replacements, Defective returns and SRN process, POD, on time bill submission by CFA, FIFO, Vehicle
detention, Space utilization) on a monthly basis and flash the report actual vs target on a monthly basis.
• Preparing daily, Weekly or monthly material requirement plan based on the demand Plan, confirmed orders and
the supply plan shared by the factory planning & despatch team.
• Quarterly visit to warehouses and RDC for team relationship and auditing and guidance to the team.
• Periodical warehouse location identification, shifting, contract agreement and renewals subject to cost approval.
• Initiate the inter/ intra region stock transfer against the DP or over and above the DP through the category
approval or Ad hoc request to respective branches for fulfilling the fill rates.
• Maximize the factory direct billings as part of cost saving and timely delivery
• Leading, developing and running the business operational processes that include, order Management, cycle
time, logistics, transportation, warehouse management, Route planning and customer service to ensure that
a high quality and responsive support service is supplied on time.
• Preparing material requirement plan and streamlining the system and procedures for effective inventory control
for ensuring ready availability of materials to meet the sales and distribution targets
• Managing effective & efficient costing system resulting in cost reduction, business process and procedures
for improving performances
• Overseeing the store management and maintaining reduced inventory levels. Maintaining the stock of
material without any variance by conducting perpetual stock verification and documentation.
• Facilitating optimization of inventory, where in monitoring warehouse personnel and processes and secure high
quality and cost-efficient operations (having own warehouse of 25000 sq. ft. area, 1500 pallets, over 250 SKU’s
with total 33 warehouse & logistics staff.
• Ensuring effective development of logistics strategy (warehousing, distribution, order management, value
added services, leadership development, and customer service)
• Contributing towards budgeting & control-continual improvement in area of responsibility i.e. optimizing
freight, DC operations, distribution routes, stationary, manpower and so on
• Vendor Management-Negotiation with Courier and Transpiration service providers, dealings with warehouse
owners, contract renewals, Periodical meetings, Payment follow ups, Service follow-ups,
• Timely submission of MIS and reports to the Management for understanding the business growth.
• Planning and conducting monthly stock taking and reconciliation, and Monitoring shelf life and ensure
FIFO system
• Maximize the service areas for E commerce operation and Devising efficient Logistics Management System to
ensure the delivery of various products to the right customers at the right time without any damages as per
committed timelines and cost across India

•Maintaining standards of health and safety, hygiene and security in the work environment as per company policies.
•Booking the vehicles for the daily dispatch and follow up with branches whether the stock is reaching at the correct time and in proper condition.
