Part of the pre-opening HR & Training Team. On-boarding new associates, ensuring a smooth transition into the Anantara brand. Responsible for delivering brand trainings, liaising with departmental managers to initiate service skills training based on guest reviews and monitoring all trainings in the hotel. Well -versed in UAE labor law, Taleo trained, conducting recruitment events and solely responsible for our monthly recognition drives.

• Single handedly managing the training function for the resort
• Reduced costs by sourcing different training vendors and managed to save money in the annual training budget

Recruited to support rebranding into a Hilton Hotel, guiding trainings and record keeping in line with Hilton Worldwide standards. Responsible for the entire life cycle of an employee from recruitment to retirement. Working as a standalone HR personnel reporting directly to the Hotel Manager.

• Reduced turnover from 4.1% to 3.5% by implementation of various recognition programmmes and employee events
• Supporting departmental managers to conduct all performance management in line UK labor law
• Establishing HR policies in line with company policies and HR best practices
• Managed recruitment for all employee levels and worked with NGOs to employ locals
• Created the annual payroll budget and processed monthly payroll
Working as a first point of contact for all employees for any HR and payroll queries. Completely accountable for record management on the online HR database (HR.net) and payroll system (PAMS). Working in a team of four reporting directly to the HR Director.
