Main responsibilities include reviewing design & shop drawings, calculations & material
submittals of the project for approvals to match with specs and standards including with
pre-qualification of sub-contractors and simultaneously supervising, inspecting & testing
the mechanical systems.

Scope of work (SOW) includes but not limited to design & review for HVAC system: Heat
load calculations, Ventilation calculations, External static pressure calculations, Duct sizing,
Smoke management systems, Chilled water pipe sizing, Chilled water pumps flow and head
calculations based on applications.

Plumbing System and Irrigation system Calculations which includes pump head calculation,
Pipe sizing and Selection of pumps as per codes & project specifications.

Firefighting system calculation which includes hydraulic calculation, head/head loss
calculation, pipe sizing, distribution of sprinklers, fire hose cabinets & selection of pumps
in compliance with NFPA & civil defense requirements.

To Ensure the implementation of all design requirements during construction, as per work
scopes, engineered drawings, specification and standards including ASHRAE, SMACNA,
NFPA, UPC, NPC, IPC and SASO.

Inspection of all related works as per quality management forms and requests in compliance
with standards which includes but not limited to HVAC equipment's, ducting works, piping
works, Water supply equipment, piping & treatment works, Sewage & storm water system,
Fire sprinkler systems, LPG systems, Building Management system (BMS) etc.

Performing Inspections of material delivered at site & approvals in line with quantities and
bills as per tender B.O.Q's.

Coordinate the development of non-conformance report for quality issues identified during
construction phase and monitor the construction progress inline with on-site health & safety
implementations to ensure the alignment in accordance with project schedule.

Provide technical support for request for proposals, contracts, specification, preliminaries
and variation.

Record changes on site and review mark-up drawings/As-built drawings.

To act as interface between construction contractor and client. Updating project progress to
the client thru complete reports and documentation.

Works with project management team to resolve issues/comments.

Weekly meetings with contractors for any technical issues, project progress schedules,
quality & cost controls and deliveries.

Reviewing and approving testing and commissioning of all systems and issuing handing
over certification with all deliverable.

Assist the discipline staff on projects in resolving any technical issues, claims, disputes
arising and requiring input for satisfactory close out.

Reviewing contractual documents (specifications), doing take offs & procurement,
preparing BOQ’s Plans for Sending inquiries, preparing material submittals & shop
drawing, submitting & getting approvals. Preparing cost analysis for various projects.

Coordination with equipment suppliers etc. Preparation of contract documents with
suppliers & end clients.

Follow ups of commencement of work on site along with its progress & simultaneously
updating manager with complete reports.

Site supervision & maintaining work schedule sheet on project basis & reporting to
authorities. Preparation of percentage of completed works on site for invoicing.

Providing complete technical detail to site staff for easy and smooth execution of project.

Handing over of the projects after proper testing & commissioning.

Actively involved in generating business & getting new projects thru marketing for the
company covering all electro-mechanical projects including AC maintenance contracts from
hotels, commercial buildings & villas.

1. HVAC works for Glass House Hilton Dubai Creek.
2. Complete HVAC Systems for private villa in Mankhool.
3. AHU and associated ducting works for Aujan Industries.
4. Water purification system utilizing UV lamps in Shangri-La Hotel.
5. Chilled water system works for H.E Humaid Bin Al Tayer Villa.
6. Chilled water system work for Dubai Marine Hotel.
